GODSON 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2006 I never seen any of the Shotgun Saturday Night shows before they move to Arena's. The only thing I remember seeing was footage of Ahmed PRP on the top of the car and that's it. Frankly, a good majority of the country couldn't even see the show, since WWF did a crappy job of getting affiliates to carry it before they started the show. That led to a huge curiosity factor for a lot of fans, but once people actually saw the show, it wasn't that special. A lot of the matches and angles were pretty embarassing, and the whole wrestling in bars and nightclubs thing seemed kind of second rate. Case in point: As a 13ish year old fan at this point, I was excited the WWF signed MIGUEL PEREZ JR in Feb to feud with SAVIO VEGA of all people. i remember thinking, good one more guy WCW can't use.
