Guest wildpegasus Report post Posted May 27, 2006 There is nothing amazing about this. Nervous insecure grown up guy "meets" an obvious academically challenged girl via the internet, and a serious of "events" occur preventing the awkward meeting. There is no drama, you always know something even more pathetic will come around the corner. It's like watching a bird caught in a trap trying to escape, you know how it will end but you watch the bird squirm anyways because there's something entertaining and appealing about the bird's struggle. It's the same with Marvin here, we know this doesn't end right or even remotely on a good note. They'll probably set up another meeting where that doesn't happen due to another "situation", and eventually Heaven will stop bothering her charade or give up for good because Marvin isn't doing anything about it or because she can't do anything either. Marvin's world is like leading lamb to the slaughter. Ouch. I hope you're using reverse physcology here on Marvin. Marvin, don't let the Sick Nothing Of Bragging that is Hawk34 drag you down. Prove him wrong.
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted May 27, 2006 I was fine with leaving it at "it was one big joke" until she sent me an email with an explanation as to why she didnt show up, even if the explanation is about the stupidest thing I've ever read and I dont really believe it. If I hadn't got an explanation, I could continue believing that whoever it is had their laugh and were done. The problem is now that I have a tiny bit of doubt and like a few other things in my life that continually eat away at me (stuff totally unlreated to my pathetic social problems) because I assumed the worst and didnt even try to see anything positive, it will join the feast if I dont find out one way or another. And I think it will bother me more if I find out that she really did have an accident and everything..just because of how many times I always assume the negative side of things and I was this close to doing the same one more time. Prove him wrong. What bragging? This isn't reverse anything, it's truthful reality. Something that you can't connect with. This isn't going to work for Marvin, I would like for it too but reality always speaks for itself and it has been rather emphatic with this string of events in his life. Marvin, while insecure and awkward probably deserves to be happy even if he can't figure out what it takes. He can't keep chasing something in Heaven that doesn't really exist. It's a false hope. The road Marvin is on right now is covered with holes and he keeps tripping over them or it pulls him down into an almost bottomless pit. You want to push him down the road, by encourging him to keep it going. For what? Because you are entertained by his "story". You see everything as a story, but people like myself, Leena and everyone else here are working off reality and the honest truth of life and that's why we're telling Marvin he is wasting his time. Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted May 27, 2006 Through this entire thread, you have continuously attempted to motivate Marvin to pursue something that is a lost cause, ignoring the simple reality of the situation. Marvin, either got used for someone’s twisted idea of fun, or the cards aren’t on the table for Marvin, with Heaven. Anyone who has a legitimate knowledge of reality in regards to relationships, (from starting them, keeping them and ending them) will say the writing was on the wall for Marvin. It’s time for him to just get out this mess. We have all lost before, Marvin took his shot and it didn’t work. That sucks but it’s a sign to just move on to the next one. There is always a next one. Marvin needs to leave this girl behind, regardless of the truth behind this supposed “accident”. I’m trying to tell Marvin that it’s fine to lose as long as you give it another try. You? You are calling his situation a story and talking about climaxes, drama and suspense as if it was a fictional novel. Telling him to try again with her, to “keep trying”…Who said you were trying to mislead him? That was your own words. You are just telling him to keep going after this empty space... For what? More bullshit excuses? More disappointment? That’s good for you, but Marvin should actually succeed and get something out of whatever he is looking for but he won’t get that by playing email tag with some mysterious girl that continuously slips from his grasp and left behind a insanely suspicious trail of bullshit. I don't know if this counts as advice, but I started laughing uproariously while reading this post, an didn't stop until well after it was finished. If I was going to generously assess the probability of this story being true, I'd call it low. Just for entertainment's sake though, you should probably try and get a hold of this girl again though. tominator89 0 Report post Posted May 27, 2006 Marvin, I can see why you'd be somewhat curious if her story is actually true. Living in PA, deer causing accidents happens all the time. My Mom just hit one the other day on the way to work. Anyway, I have to support everyone who recommends that it's time to move on. If you two actually did meet how could it possibly live up to all the dramatic buildup? If you really need closure then just write a simple email to her and move on. Guest Felonies! Report post Posted May 27, 2006 matthew, i am so sorry but i was going to meet with u today but i was driving to the 7-11 to get some wine culers and then i got held up by a robber but it wasnt just any robber it was a robber from mars and he abducted me and sanjay (he is the owner of thes tore) and took us aboard his ship, where we discussed life and philasephey. it was intillectualy simulating. after sanjay and me got our routine anel probes at the end we were free to go, and i thought i would be back by 8, like rf-4582 told us we would, but apparently he ment in mars time, and since the spaceship was in mars time and not earth time, i really got back at 11. (rf-4582 kept the wine culers.) so i'm really sorry about this, i never wouldve imagined this could happen to me. love heaven

RedJed 0 Report post Posted May 27, 2006 The only thing that needs to happen in this situation is Marvin needs to call this chick up and see what her deal is. If they can have some good conversation over the phone, maybe its worth meeting up with. But my gut says this chick is bullshitting this whole story just because she is scared to meet him. Guest Felonies! MrRant 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2006 I will say that if by some chance she is real, and by some chance you meet and get into bed together... slip it in her ass. Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2006 You really need to give us the #, so myself or Leena can get to the bottom of this. PM it, though. Not that WP would even know how to react to the sound of a girl on the phone (can he even operate a phone?), but you shouldn't let WP that close to the possibility. I'm starting to think this is all some elaborate work designed to get attention or something(from you, not her)

Someday I will try to up my pitiful existence to the level of your superiority. Of course I know how to react to the sound of a girl on the phone. I have lived with 3 sisters all of which have had a ton of friends. And yes I can operate a phone. I have gone through days where there have been over 40 phone calls to the house.
