CanadianGuitarist 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2006 I'm fine either way...like a bisexual. I would think we could use it a second just in the event of needing a tiebreak or what have you I'd say, anyone otuside of the top 30 in the world rankings or who hasn't won in two years...I don't know, does that make DL3 or Weir or Scott an underdog. Meh, we can work something out. Anyone else see Els saying Lefty is now the man to beat at Augusta, not Tiger? Imagine if Mick had learned to win a major in 2000(or earlier, as he could/would/should have).
Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2006 Through Round 2. I'll have last choice next week. Good luck to everyone else. Doesn't look like anyone is going to be in real contention. Never know though. Culloden Hastings-Darren Clarke MC Canadian Chris-Davis Love III -3 Canadian Guitarist-Justin Leonard -3 RedBaron51-Scott Verplank -2 IggyMcFly-Ian Poulter -3 Jim Furyk leads by two shots. Four way tied for second. 22 golfers within five shots of the lead. How would everyone feel about a second choice having to be someone outside the Top 75 in the money order? Red Baron 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2006 Before I was going to change my pick, I thought of Furyk, but I really didn't think he was going to suit the course so well.
Red Baron 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2006 You know what, I think I like that second choice has to be outside the top 75. It adds a bit to the challenge.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2006 Sounds good to me. I was also thinking of Furyk. They showed a graphic yesterday of how much he's improved every time he comes back to Harbour Town. He tied for second last year.

Eight golfers within six shots of the lead. White Rat? Sorry, I didn't see any golf this week, just the recap on thegolfchannel.com Badds gets his first win on the US tour. Good for him, he had been close a few times. He's also won the Aussie open twice(consecutively at 18 and 19 years old, if I'm not mistaken) I was drunk when I heard it, but there's a 12 year old playing in next week's LPGA stop. Fuck, I'd better be right. I'd have some explaining to do if I imagine 12 year old girls when I'm drunk.

Oh, and White Rat is Billy Mayfair.

CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2006 Sweet, Appleby's in the lead. If I couldn't have Vijay, I knew Stuey would probably be a good guy to have in Houston. Darren Clarke withdrew following a 68 to be with his wife.

Red Baron 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2006 Lets just hope the cut stays at even par. I was really hoping that Harrington would do well this week.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2006 I can't see that happening. It's already moved to -1. The course isn't playing hard enough for enough players to move backward.
iggymcfly 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2006 Thank god for the dark horse candidate. Toms isn't even going to make the cut after a 77 today, but Leaney's in pretty good shape at -5 with almost the entire second round still to go.

Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2006 Looking really good for Chris. I'm curious should we combine the money made between the two choices, or have seperate categories?
iggymcfly 0 Report post Posted April 23, 2006 We should just combine it. It's all the same contest after all. Besides, who really wants to win half of a five-person contest?
