Richard Posted April 3, 2006 Report Posted April 3, 2006 An online class I've sign up for just started today and I'm trying to access the class site but when I go there, I get two security warnings that crash firefox and force me to Ctrl alt del. Anyone have any idea how to get rid of these?
Carnival Posted April 4, 2006 Report Posted April 4, 2006 Try to use explorer. Thats half the battle right there. Then at least you'll know where the problem lies.
2GOLD Posted April 4, 2006 Report Posted April 4, 2006 An online class I've sign up for just started today and I'm trying to access the class site but when I go there, I get two security warnings that crash firefox and force me to Ctrl alt del. Anyone have any idea how to get rid of these? Hopefully you don't have the problem I had where java sent me an update that included a Trojan worm forcing me to reinstall it. Like Carv said, try IE. Sometimes Firefox will just plain freeze up on some things.
MrRant Posted April 4, 2006 Report Posted April 4, 2006 I'd first reinstall Java. If that doesn't work, reinstall Firefox.
Carnival Posted April 7, 2006 Report Posted April 7, 2006 My Java and Firefox don't jive too well either. I use IE for such things.
Guest Princess Leena Posted April 8, 2006 Report Posted April 8, 2006 Make sure you're using Sun Java for Firefox. Use it for IE, also. Microsoft's virtual machine is a piece of shit. Except for damned sites that make you Microsoft.
Carnival Posted April 8, 2006 Report Posted April 8, 2006 mine is sun java for sure. jadedvideo.com's new java crap freezes up my firefox when i'm searching for previews of the porns on usenet.
Richard Posted April 8, 2006 Author Report Posted April 8, 2006 I used IE and the site worked. Thanks for your help.
