MrRant 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2006 Piper is going to be in my home town of Bellingham,WA on April 28th for his show at the Mount Baker Theater. Tickets are $28 so it's not too bad. "The "Rowdy" Roddy Piper Show is a two hour "tell it all" one man stand up performance where he'll have you laughing and crying at the same time. Roddy a WWF era Hall of famer, and the only man (besides Vince & Hulk) who can claim that he had a part in the creation of Hulkamania, was "Rowdy" Roddy Piper. "Just when you think you got the answers, I change the questions!" was his motto. He broke onto the scene with a weekly interview segment called "Piper's Pit," where he would irritate his guests to the point where a feud would follow. The most famous "Pit" incident occurred when Piper cracked Jimmy Snuka over the head with a coconut. Later on, Piper's Pit was used as a vital set-up for the Hulk Hogan vs Andre The Giant showdown at Wrestlemania III." http://rodd-piper-show.blogspot.com/

MrRant 0 Report post Posted April 5, 2006 I saw it up here. It might have been for Washington Comcast cable systems only.
Guest Smues Report post Posted April 21, 2006 I had no idea this existed until I was doing my weekly or so browse of ticketswest.com. Of course I bought tickets to the Spokane show in May. Mean Gene is also supposed to be there. I'm hoping for a trainwreck.
FroGG_NeaL 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2006 If he comes near St. Louis before September, or to Chicago after, I'm so going.
Guest Smues Report post Posted May 12, 2006 Got to the theater about 7:45 for his 8pm show to see a little sign on the door saying the show was cancelled. Needless to say I was very angry. If he cancelled for some legitimate reason like a family emergency than I can't blame him. But if he cancelled because of low ticket sales, which I suspect is the case since as of 2 days ago you could still get a seat in the 2nd row, then the son of a bitch needs to die. I actually wanted to see this. I bought my ticket and paid for my friends just to have someone to go with. Plus I planned to buy souvineers. So if he cancelled due to low ticket sales I say fuck you and die Roddy Piper.
