Guest nokia Report post Posted April 10, 2006 Japanese legend Jushin "Thunder" Liger will not appear at the TNA Lockdown PPV on 4/23 in Orlando, Florida, where he was scheduled to challenge TNA X-Division champion Christopher Daniels. According to a source in Japan, there was a communication snafu when Liger was booked, and he'll be remaining in Japan to appear on the New Japan tour that week instead of traveling to the United States. I was told the error was not made by TNA, but by someone on the New Japan side. TNA has already removed the Liger vs. Daniels match from their Lockdown website and are expected to announce the replacement match shortly, with a Gauntlet bout the most likely option Credit; pwinsider
Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted April 10, 2006 I don't think this is that big of a loss. I like Liger as much as the next guy, but he isn't the make or break factor for me to buy a show or not. There is a lesson here that TNA should learn from about leaning on and using talent from other promotions. Not sure if they'll get it, but there is a lesson nonetheless.
