Scroby 0 Report post Posted June 3, 2006 Man, I realize now that we should have gotten 10,000 more since there's so many more people to choose from. I'm having trouble picking a team right now.

Guest Princess Leena Report post Posted June 3, 2006 I agree with that... should probably go up to $40-50 million now. Sucks this week, too... since you basically have to pick many $4-5 million guys.

Shh..but I think Paul Heyman is a value at $1 mil..He'll definitely show up at least once on each show this week..
Scroby 0 Report post Posted June 3, 2006 Ok I made my team for the week and its a "Hit Or Miss" team. Either they'll all get a lot of points and I'll stay on top or I'm fucked and I'm going to descend through the ranks. Here's my team. Finlay John Cena Kane Kurt Angle Rey Mysterio Rob Van Dam Sabu The way I see it, Cena, Angle, Mysterio, RVD, and Sabu will at least be on Raw or Smackdown along with the PPV and the WWE vs ECW show. Finlay and kane may not be on the PPV or WWE vs ECW but at least their involved in major storylines with Raw and Smackdown. Like I said, my team is a "Hit or Miss" team. King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted June 5, 2006 Phew. I was starting to get a little worried when Finlay didn't use the Shillal...the stick and gave it to the Leprechaun instead, but he came through for me eventually. They need to start giving points for catchphrases in the same way they give points for finishers. 5 points every time Michael Cole says "TV that's changing Friday nights" and that stupid Miz Hoorah crap and we'd be in the points. DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted June 5, 2006 Some key questions answered today: Question: How will scoring work as far as specialty matches go for the new ECW shows? In the past, ECW basically had no rules and foreign objects were always allowed. How will this be handled? -Nicholas of "Simple Design" Answer: Since this is a new ECW, the Fantasy Board is assuming nothing about the rules of the matches. In the past, yes, ECW matches were often chaotic. However, as it stands for Season 7 right now, no ECW match will be considered a specialty match unless announced as such. Should foreign object use occur, it would be scored as it would for any other match unless it occurs during a specialty match type where object use is considered inherent. A non-exhaustive list of such matches can be found on the specialty matches page. Question: Now that ECW has been added to WWE Fantasy, will the salary cap be raised? -John of "No Advance Warning" Answer: Unfortunately, the salary cap cannot be raised during the season. However, the Fantasy Board is looking into the possibility of raising the salary cap for Season 8.

Scroby 0 Report post Posted June 5, 2006 Wow does that mean every object shot will count? Pretty much, every time a chair is used or a table is brought in.....POINTS! This might be the reason the ECW guys are worth so much.
Guest Princess Leena Report post Posted June 5, 2006 I went with: Edge John Cena Ken Kennedy (no ECW guys looked like sure matches under $4) Paul Heyman Rey Mysterio RVD Sabu Tommy Dreamer Looks like nearly everyone went with basically the same team. Guest Princess Leena Report post Posted June 6, 2006 Damnit. I wish I had Sandman. He's gonna get like 30 points for all the cane shots tonight. Even though most of them were like feet away from hitting Cena.
Scroby 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2006 Just wanted to let you guys know that even though the points haven't beed added up yet for wrestlers, if you click a wrestler, you can see what he has done so far for week 3. For example, if I click Sabu's name, it says he got one apperance and two weapon shots. Doesn't tell me how many points he got, but tells me what he did. For some reason Fantasy didn't give him points for hitting his finisher. In other news, from the looks of it.....Raw sucked for me tonight.
Vampiro69 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2006 Wish I would have picked the Sandman. Not sure what I was thinking there. Although I did get 18 points from Beth Phoenix.

If you look back at it, the table was pretty far from the corner he was jumping from and from that distance, do you really think he, or anyone for that matter, be able to land correctly, put and hold the chair under their BUTT, all in mid-air? If anything, the table was put in the wrong place from where Sabu was suppose to jump from. Sabu was also hesitant from jumping, looked like he thought about it for a second. Problem is, in wrestling your taught something. Once you go up, you better jump and not climb back down. It would have looked really bad if Sabu climbed up the turnbuckle, looked at Cena, thought about it, climbed back down and went to another corner. Sabu went for it, he didn't hit the move correctly, but at least he went for it.

Guest Princess Leena Report post Posted June 6, 2006 It's silly that Sandman gets more points than everyone who got a clean win... the rules should be changed so you get 1 point for a weapon shot, or you only get points for 1 weapon attack per appearance. I think the point of the rule is lost.
DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2006 Go Sandman! I'm off to a good start, with Sandman being the top pick for Raw but everyone else scoring poorly (3-5 points), but that's all build to the end of the week. My only questionable pick right now is Kid Kash, but it was only $2M and I wanted to pick someone with a chance to appear on the Wednesday and Sunday shows. Hell, might even be an off chance he appears on SmackDown!
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted June 7, 2006 HHH's 7 Appearances..ha..they should call that the HHH scoring rule.
Guest Princess Leena Report post Posted June 7, 2006 23 points for HHH is gonna end up being poor once all the shows add up this week, however. Cena/Rey/Sabu/RVD are all guaranteed to go over that, as long as they don't get DQ'd or suspended.

Guest Princess Leena Report post Posted June 7, 2006 Ugh... I'm in 18th now. I'll probably move up, but I need something good to happen to move in the Top 10. Kennedy, please return on the WWE/ECW show. I need it.

Cena/Rey/Sabu/RVD are all guaranteed to go over that, as long as they don't get DQ'd or suspended. I have Rey/Sabu/RVD too. Plus, HHH could be in the battle royal tonight although I doubt it. I know Lashley is in it so thats good and Im hoping Finlay is in it as well. The battle royal is going to give out a lot of points for being the ME (from what Ive heard) as well as being a specialty match, eliminations and the winner, plus the other stuff... DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted June 7, 2006 I hate Finlay. A lot. But I guess I hate Kid Kash more. Bottom line America? I wish I knew Finlay had ECW involvment because I would have picked him instead of Kash/Heyman (I think Heyman's $1M price tag will pay off with multiple appearances tonight, Friday, and Sunday though).
