Vampiro69 Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Right now I am 8th overall on ESPN.com in the draft game.
Hawk 34 Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 ESPN is too fascinated with Jay Cutler's school. "OMG! U went to Vanderbilt?!?, what was that like" "um it was a good school..." "but like it's Vanderbilt!" "Can we talk about the Broncos?" "VANDERBILT!"
Guest Smues Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Oh god no not the Comcast song. I thought they were done airing this piece of shit. What's next, that awful DirectTV ad?
teke184 Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 They're doing it because "Vanderbilt" and "offense" go together about as often as Rosie O'Donnell and a man.
therealworldschampion Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Seems that the Eagles will get either Ngata, Bunkley, or Justice at 14.
teke184 Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Cleveland won't take a DT, so the question is what they want on D... an end? An LB? A DB?
Guest StylesMark Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Every team that didn't take Leinart (besides NO) will be sorry. I'm not even a USC fan of any sort...but you don't get to be 37-2, win two National Championships and a Heisman, all because you are "lucky". edit: Giants need a WR or CB.
Vampiro69 Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Seems that the Eagles will get either Ngata, Bunkley, or Justice at 14. I have Justice going to the Eagles.
yankovic fan Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Espn scroller: "Vince Young 3rd QB taken third overall, preceeded by Akili Smith and Joey Harrington..." That is not comforting if you're a Titans fan.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Trade. Baltimore just traded up.
teke184 Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Baltimore has traded up to Cleveland's spot... WTF?
Guest Smues Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 So now that Baltimore has the spot who do they pick?
Hawk 34 Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Every team that didn't take Leinart (besides NO) will be sorry. It doesn't mean anything on the pro level.
Guest Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 909, the Cardinals still need an o-line even with all that firepower at the skill positions. That's why I gave them a 4 year window. It's not like they're going to be near the cap after signing Leinart. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. No way. Leinart may be good but he won't be that good. He doesn't have to be good. All he has to do is be able to throw the ball near Fitzgerald and Boldin, which with his accuracy, won't be a problem. Don't flamebait me or others that like USC again, as that's been your agenda throughout this whole thread. I think any QB would have been good for the Cardinals.
therealworldschampion Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Bunkley won't last past 14 with the Eagles taking him if he's there.
Vampiro69 Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Dang it, I had the selection being Wimbley.
Guest StylesMark Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Every team that didn't take Leinart (besides NO) will be sorry. It doesn't mean anything on the pro level. So did OJ. And it did mean something. The murderer Ray Lewis is on!
Conspiracy_Victim Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 For his sake, Ngata had better NEVER take a play off. Lord knows what Ray Lewis will do to him if he thinks Haloti's slacking.
teke184 Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Ngata better be ready to take a cap in his ass if he starts slacking then...
BX Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Pick #12 is worth 1200 Pick #13 is worth 1150. I think Baltimore gave up a fourth.
BX Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Berman just said the Ravens gave up a 6th!? A 6th!?!
Hawk 34 Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 "only", I still find it nuts you have to trade another pick just to move one spot up.
yankovic fan Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Ok they use a highlight video from the USC game to show Ngata... Of course he'll look not so stellar.
Guest StylesMark Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 The Ravens and Browns will both continue to be bad, as far as I can see.
