Free program to record music from line in

Does anyone know a good free program to record music from line-in? The burner broke on my eight-track and I need a way to get music on my pc.

You could try Audacity It isn't the greatest piece of audio editing software out there, but it should do the trick.

Yeah, Audacity works pretty well and is quite versatile for a free program.
