VHS is dead

Today I got WCW Hog Wild '99. a Star Trek the Next Generation episode, King of the Ring 2001, UFC 1, and I think the first Ultimate Ultimate. What other early UFCs are really good?

Man, I still use VHS way more than DVD. Anyone else?

I do. Strictly wrestling though. (And being able to watch one thing somewhere, and record another when seasons decide to show shows I like at the same time, ex: Smallville/OC)

 

I definitely use my VHS more then my DVD player, but losing 'real' VHs will be no loss, because I said, most of the tapes I have are ones I taped myself. Not movies. I've got just about every RAW since 2001, and I still continue to tape each week, and every SD from then to sometime in 2005. They're fun to pull out on those days I just want to watch some older wrestling, or when there just isn't jackshit on tv.

yea I taped almost ever raw and sd since the end of 2001 thru early this year. I stopped only cuz of the move to NY and now I dont have a vcr so. actually I still have 2 boxes of vhs tapes still there I need to get shipped from my friends house.

 

 

anyhow I love used vhs sales, usually you can find old wrestling titles for cheap. And I have gotten some decent quality ones too, as well as slightly jacked up tapes. I bought a used of surseries 90 (first ppv I ever watched so it was nostalgic for me) once, and it got stuck in my vcr and there it went after only 1 viewing.

 

wish I was near a store like that now, even if I dont have a vcr currently.

I might go down to my local video store and see if they are doing the same thing. Load up on the horror movies they have that either aren't on DVD or they are asking way too much money for the DVD version.

 

I bought all the Rhino VHS of MST3K and I have a few VHS movies and ECW PPVS, but other than that I haven't bought a VHS since buying a used copy of "Robot Jox" about two years ago.
