Tony149 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2006 *KA-CHING~!* *Come and take your Vitamin X.* As “Rhymin’ & Stealin’” by the Beastie Boys starts playing, the crowd stands up and starts booing loudly. The Lightning Crew Mobile pulls up into the arena and parks near the entrance ramp, the Cuban Wall and Vitamin X holding the World tag team titles out the front windows as Ms. Lindsay Gonzalez does a seductive dance on the hood of the car. Cuban Wall and Vitamin X high five each other, and then step out of the red low-rider, the belts still in their hands. Wall and VX raise the stolen property of the Heavenly Rockers to a chorus of boos. Lindsay links up with her men arm and arm, the 3 Lightning Crew members headed to the ring. * DING DING DING * BUFFER Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest on School's Out is scheduled for one fall and it is for the heavyweight tag team championship of the World. Introducing first, accompanied by the 1st Lady of The Lightning Crew, Ms. Lindsay Gonzalez...weighing in tonight at 533 pounds, the challengers... Vitamin X pulls Buffer aside and whispers something in his ear. Buffer is relucted to do as told until the Cuban Wall pays him a visit. BUFFER Ladies and gentlemen, the tag team champions of the wooooooorld, Cuban Wall and Vitamin X, BRAINS ANNNNNNNNNND BRRRAAAAAAAWWWWNNNNN! Shane-O-Mac Shuffle from the X-Man, a cocky smirk on his face as he and Cuban Wall stand next to Buffer with the tag belts over their shoulders. "BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" COLE The nerve of these men. They aren't the champions. They're crooks. COACH You know what they say, baby boy, possession is 9/10ths of the law. COLE That's a bunch of crock! Brains & Brawn are crooks, plain and simple. They didn't defeat the Heavenly Rockers for the belts, they stole them. COACH I prefer to call it safekeeping, that way the belts don't get lost or stolen. You know how dangerous the world is. CABOOSE Whatever you want to call it, Brains & Brawn will have a chance to win the belts fair and square tonight. COLE And they'll have to do it without the help of fellow Lightning Crew members like we saw on HeldDOWN~! If they win the tag titles, they'll do it like men not like a street gang. "Heart-Shaped Box" cues up, the fans jumping out of their seats and cheering the arrival of the World tag team champions. The Heavenly Rockers step out onto the stage and soak in the adulation from their fans, pointing to B&B and what's rightfully theirs -- the World tag team championship. BUFFER Their opponents...from Sin City, the reigning and defending heavyweight tag team champions of the woooooorld, the greatest rock 'n' wrestling band of all-time... THE HEAVENLYYYYY RRRRROOOOOOCKERRRRRSSSSSS! Synth and Logan charge the ring, Vitamin X and the Cuban Wall exiting in a calm matter. The Heavenly Rockers throw their leather jackets in B&B's faces, motioning for them to bring it on. Vitamin X and the Cuban Wall respond with a smirk and cold stare. Nick Patrick sends the Heavenly Rockers over to their corner and orders Brains & Brawn back inside the ring. COLE The Heavenly Rockers look ready, guys. COACH So do Brains & Brawn. Check out Logan Mann. The guy looks like a mummy all bandaged up. CABOOSE That usually happens to people chokeslammed off a 5 foot high interview stage to the concrete floor. The Cuban Wall warms up for the match by shadowboxing outside with Vitamin X as Nick Patrick keeps the Heavenly Rockers at bay. He takes the tag titles from the 1st Lady of the Lightning Crew and holds them up for all to see, including the challengers who shove Nick away because they know what the belts look like since they're the "champions." Michael Buffer is given possession of the belts and returns with them to his seat near the timekeepers table. * DING DING * Ready for action, Synth and Vitamin X say some last second words to their partners and walk up to each other in the center of the ring. VX bobs around the ring, shuffling his feet and winding up his fist. Synth cracks a smile, then shows he's more than just a wrestler/musican, he's also an impressionist, doing his version of the X-Man's Shane-O-Mac Shuffle that ends with the robot and a moonwalk! COLE You never know what you'll see at a OAOAST event. Vitamin X none to please with the Synthemeister's portrayal. Apparently he doesn't have a sense of humor like the rest of us. * SLAP * "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" COACH (laughs) There's the X-Man's sense of humor. Vitamin X baits Synth into chasing him around the ring. Before he approaches the Heavenly Rockers corner VX rolls back inside and cheapshots Synth sliding in, stomping him in the back of the head. Snap suplex and a beauty, Vitamin X following up with rapid-fire elbow drops. He brings Synth up and rocks him with right hands, then drives him into the boot of Cuban Wall's in their corner. The near 7 foot tall native of Havana shows off his agility, soaring through the air and leveling the Synthmeister with an Undertaker-like flying clothesline off the ropes. He scoopes Synth up with ease and slams him to the mat, hitting the ropes afterwards and dropping the big leg. ONE... TW-- KICKOUT! The brawn in Brains & Brawn brings Synth back to his feet, sending him hard into the corner, and squashing the Synthmeister like a bug with an Avalanche splash! Synth staggers out and falls to a knee mid-ring, the Cuban Wall running up and smacking him upside the head with a SHINING WIZARD! COACH That's no cruiserweight, fellas. It's a 6'7, 285 pound bad ass Cuban. COLE Here's the cover! We could have new champions here! ONE... TWO... KICKOUT! The Cuban Wall drives the fist into the forehead, lifting Synth up and firing him off to the ropes. He raises the boot...but Synth sprints under and shoots back with a flying forearm, just to bounce right off Wall's chest! Cuban Wall stares coldly into the eyes of Synth, shaking his head. Synth watches from a knee in awe, especially since his partner has climbed the corner behind the Cuban Wall. * BOOM * Double-axehandle to the head! The Heavenly Rockers with rights and lefts, rocking the big Cuban. Synth goes to take care of Vitamin X, bringing the X-Man down with a neckbreaker after ducking a clothesline, while Logan keeps the Cuban Wall reeling with left jabs to the stomach and chin. Mann yanks the Cuban flag bandana off Wall's head and stuffs it in his mouth, gouging the eyes with his free hand! Short-arm spinning clothesline knocks the Cuban Wall over the top to the floor, reuniting him with Vitamin X and Ms. Lindsay. Logan leaps onto the middle turnbuckle and points to the fans, amping them up to the max. CABOOSE The champions taking it to the challengers. COACH I'm glad you see it my mine, Caboose. The champions, Brains & Brawn, had the Heavenly Rockers on the ropes until those part-time wrestlers began cheating. COLE Let me repeat: Brains & Brawn are not the champions. COACH Officially not yet. But they are in The Coach's mind. Ms. Lindsay flees as Synth surprises Brains & Brawn, hitting the Cuban Wall with a SUICIDE DIVE that slams him into Vitamin X, crushing the X-Man against the GUARDRAIL. Logan shoots Ms. Lindsay a look, basically telling her to stay away. Synth and Logan target the Cuban Wall in hopes of taking him out of the match. Face-first into the steel ring steps goes Cuban Wall, who's tossed back inside the ring. The Heavenly Rockers follow Wall in and nearly knock him off his feet with double dropkicks to the knees, but the Cuban uses his hands to keep himself up. The Heavenly Rockers go to the well one too many times, the Cuban Wall showing an incredible amount of strength by swatting Synth and Logan down and lifting them both off the mat in a chokehold. Nick Patrick warns about the choke, but a quick glance from the Cuban Wall quiets that talk. The Cuban Wall is all set to chokeslam the Heavenly Rockers when they feverishly start kicking away at his legs, taking the wheels out from under the big man, giving them enough time to execute a double suplex! The Heavenly Rockers with a couple of quick tags. First, Logan drills the Cuban Wall square between the eyes with a running elbow, then levels him with a top rope double-axehandle smash that would make the Macho Man proud. Oooh, yeah! That allows Synth to deliver his second rope elbow drop! ONE... TWO... TH-- KICKOUT! The Cuban Wall presses Synth over the referee, letting the Heavenly Rockers know it's gonna take more than that to finish him off. Another exchange made by the Heavenly Rockers. Their strategy clearly to wear the big fella out. Irish whip, Mann going along for the ride off the opposite side. Blind tag made, Vitamin X tackling Logan to the canvas with a SPEAR after Mann whiffs at a clothesline on Cuban Wall! COLE Uh-oh. Oh, my. Lo--Logan holding onto his ribs. He took a helluva shot from Vitamin X. Michael Cole isn't the only one to notice the pain Logan is in, so does Vitamin X, who immediately sets his sights on the ribs, removing the tape job and pounds away with punches and double-axehandle smashes. The X-Man stomps on the ribs, scooping Logan up by the head and delivering a pair of snap suplexes. ONE... TWO... THR-- KICKOUT! COACH Look at the focus in that man's eyes. Vitamin X has a reputation of wanting to make his opponents submit, but he isn't playing any games tonight; there's too much on the line, namely the World tag team championship. Vitamin X knocks Synth off the apron, decking him with a right hand. As Synth struggles to get past Nick Patrick so he can get his hands on the X-Man, Vitamin X throws Logan over the top rope. The Cuban Wall knows exactly what to do, punishing Logan's ribs by ramming him into the edge of the ring apron and then slamming him on the arena floor. Nick Patrick sees Cuban Wall standing over Logan and orders him back to his corner. Cuban Wall accepts the tag from Vitamin X, who places Logan up on the apron for him to suplex in. Cuban drags Logan over to the corner and positions on on his side, exposing the ribs as he climbs up onto the middle turnbuckle. He leaps off and crashes all 285 pounds down onto Mann's ribs with the BANZAI DROP! VITAMIN (laughing) BOO-YAH~! ONE... TWO... THREE...NO! VITAMIN X  VX reaches over the top, demanding the tag. Cuban Wall oblieges. Vitamin X scales the turnbuckles with the dreaded McMahon SNEER~ etched on his face, determined to put Logan away. With a LEAP OF FAITH, the X-Man flies... ...and hits nothing but canvas as Logan avoids the flying elbow! COACH Wha...? CABOOSE Vitamin X got carried away, straying from the strategy he and Cuban Wall successfully used throughout the match. COLE Now will it come back to haunt him? "LO-GAN!" "LO-GAN!" "LO-GAN!" The crowd is firmly behind Logan Mann, laid out near the Brains & Brawn corner after rolling over to avoid Vitamin X's Leap of Faith. Synth shouts words of encouragement from his corner, drumming up (Get it? Synth's a real-life drummer) support for his partner. Both men now stirring, it's Logan who's first to his feet followed by Vitamin X. Logan struggles to maintain his balance, almost falling over. VX grabs Logan by the grab, causing Logan to turn. Vitamin X lowers his head in anticipation of an enzurigi, which never comes, so he lifts his head and eats a WICKED LEFT HOOK~! But it sends VX stumbling back into his corner while Logan falls to the mat. Brains & Brawn with the tag. Cuban Wall goes up to the top and dives off... ...connecting with a FLYING HEADBUTT TO THE RIBS!!! ONE... TWO... THREE-- KICKOUT! "YEEEAAAAHHHH!" COLE Incredible! How does Logan do it? His ribs must be killing him right now. CABOOSE Having never been a wrestler, Michael, you wouldn't understand the drive these men and women experience when they're in a championship match. Good guy or bad, it doesn't matter. That's what makes the bumps and bruises worth it, a chance to be called champion. And we're seeing both teams give it their all. Cuban Wall draps Logan over his shoulder blades, looking for a Death Valley Driver, but Mann counters by bringing him down with a sunset flip! ONE... TWO... TH-- KICKOUT! Cuban Wall rolls through and fires off a clothesline, missing as Logan goes under. Mann off the ropes, diving in the direction of Cuban Wall with the intent of hitting a back elbow, but the Cuban catches him in his arms and drives Logan into the mat with a CHOKESLAM! Instead of going for the pin, the Cuban Wall hits THE LIGHTNING CREW SPLASH for good measure. COLE Oh, my. New champions! ONE... TWO... THREE...NO!! Frustration beginning to set in on Brains & Brawn. Vitamin X wants the tag again, but Cuban Wall tells him to calm down because he's got it under control. Vitamin X doesn't know what the Cuban means until he sets Logan up for a powerbomb, bringing a smile to his face. Cuban Wall lifts Logan up, the Synthmeister springing to the top and hitting the Wall in the back with a dropkick that allows Logan to COUNTER THE POWERBOMB INTO A HURRICARANA!!! "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Logan can only hold onto one of Cuban Wall's legs, but because of the Cuban Wall's height his free leg is under the bottom rope so no count can be made. Cuban Wall shoves Logan off him and rolls to the corner, tagging Vitamin X. If Vitamin X is successful with his next move then Mann will join many of his fellow rockers in meeting their maker due to an OVERDOSE. VX double underhooks the arms and lifts up, but Logan slides down, spins Vitamin X around and hits a deseperation spinning neckbreaker! The chants of "LOGAN" once again ring throughout the Pespi Center. Logan rolls onto his side, the sweat dripping down his face as he crawls his way over to his corner, Synth ready for the tag. Logan dives towards his corner, so does Vitamin X in an effort to stop the tag...but fails! COLE There's the tag! Big right hand knocks Vitamin X off his feet. And another. The Synthmeister catches the Cuban Wall stepping through the ropes with a dropkick. He turns to see Vitamin X coming his way, and reacts by moving aside and letting the X-Man run into the Cuban Wall. Both men stumbling out of the corner as Synth hits the ropes and then Brains & Brawn with a double clothesline! Up to the top goes Synth, nailing Vitamin X with a TOP ROPE SPINNING HEEL KICK! ONE... TWO... THREE... NO!!! COLE Oh, the Cuban Wall with the save. Synth had it won if not for the Cuban Wall. Logan looks to take care of that problem, decking the Cuban Wall with a flying elbow that would make Lex Luger proud. The two brawl out to the floor, leaving Synth and Vitamin X in the ring. Cue: Chopfest. * CHOP * "WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" * CHOP * "WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" * CHOP * "WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Thumb to the eye puts Synth on his heels, Vitamin X rocking him with a fury of fast kicks. Right jab from Vitamin X, a second followed a lShane-O-Mac Shuffle, then another right...No, it's blocked. Synth spins VX like a globe, slamming him to the canvas with a reverse suplex. FINGER TWIRL OF DOOM~ signals the end is near, the Synthmeister setting Vitamin X for Percussion, but X buys himself a few more minutes with a couple of well-placed punches to the midsection. Synth battles back with punches of his own, only to have Vitamin X return the favor from minutes ago by blocking Synth's punch, using the arm to floatover and hit a DDT... ...NO! Synth counters with a kick to the midsection and PERCUSSION! "YEEEEEAAAAAHHHHHHHH!" COLE He got him! COACH Kickout, X. Kickout! ONE... TWO... Cuban Wall slides under the bottom rope, only making it halfway as Logan holds onto his legs. THREE! * DING DING DING * BUFFER Ladies and gentlemen, the winners of the match and STILL World tag team champions... THE HEAVENLYYYYY RRRRROOOOOOCKERRRRRSSSSSS! Nick Patrick takes the belts from Michael Buffer and hands them back to their rightful owners, Synth and Logan. Patrick raise their hands in victory, Logan wincing in pain due to his injured ribs. Many of the fans pat the Heavenly Rockers on the back as they head backstage, which Synth and Logan acknowledge with a fist pump. COLE Still the World tag team champions, the Heavenly Rockers. Their run in the OAOAST marked by injuries and tragedy, but they have once again overcome the odds to successfully retain -- and regain -- the tag team championship. COACH Heck of a win by the Heavenly Rockers, no doubt about it, but let's give some props to Brains & Brawn. I don't think anybody -- except the Coach, of course -- expected them to put up much of a fight. Vitamin X and Cuban Wall were never in a tag title match prior to tonight yet they found themselves in position to win at the end, which is all you can ask for in any sport. CABOOSE Coach is right. A lot of people wondered if Brains & Brawn were good enough to compete against the Heavenly Rockers, and they proved they were. Vitamin X and Cuban Wall can go home with their heads high even in defeat. This loss made them a better team. COLE That's one title match down, with the big one -- the World Heavyweight Title -- still to come later tonight.
