Guest Kimaster1976 Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 I have on DVD an episode of The Main Event from February 1990 where Randy Savage challenged Hulk Hogan for the World title with Boxing Heavyweight Champion 'Buster' Douglas being the special ref. The inevitable happened and Savage and Douglas got into an argument after the bout. My question is did Douglas hit Savage legit or by mistake because it looked pretty real to me. After the 1st punch Savage clung on like he was properly stung before finally going down on a 2nd punch. I was expecting an obvious 1 punch set up like Michaels/Tyson at WrestleMania, but this seemed alot more real to me.

Dobbs 3K Posted July 24, 2006 Report Posted July 24, 2006 I'm pretty sure the punch was worked. I'm guessing they wanted to make sure it looked good, and Savage probably didn't care about taking one stiff punch.
