I'm really looking forward to the second season of Masters of Horror. The castings look really good as I am a fan of many of the actors.

One Missed Call actually might be good. A decent cast so far.

I can't wait for the Gathering. I heard about this film a couple of years ago and it's finally here. I love Christina Ricci.

Almost anything by Dario is worth watching, and the fact that sexy Asia is in it makes it that much better.

The first season is being released 2 at a time each month. The last of which will come out I believe in October. The only one that got it's own release was Homecoming.

The Bates theme isn't that bad but the original version still kicks it all over the field. Too many stupid special sound effects and just overall too busy.

Shame "The Woods" never made it to the theaters, not shocking considering no one seemed to want to release it but still disappointing.

And a little longer wait for the newest Argento to close the trilogy isn't that big of a deal considering how long it has been waiting for production to even get started. Asia starring is a bonus, course this may mean that Dario tosses in a rape scene.

Argento's episode comes out in either August or September. He's also doing an episode for season two called "Pelts".

I actually don't have a problem with remaking "One Missed Call", since the original isn't very good anyway.

Two new dates for horror movies have been added

-The Visiting, which is said to be the third remake of Invasion of the Body Snatchers, comes out on November 2nd, 2007. The movie stars Nicole Kidman, and will be directed by the director of Das Experiment.

-The remake of One Missed Call comes out August 24th, 2007.

-The long awaited adaptation of Richard Matheson's I Am Legend, which is one of my favortite stories of all time, comes out November 22nd. The movie will (unfortunately) be produced by Michael Bay, directed by Francis ("Constantine") Lawrence, and will star Will Smith. Excuse me while I cry.

-Oh, and it seems like Priest will not have zombies in it like the manga. It will instead have vampires.

-A sequal to Tim Sullivan's 2001 Maniacs (which starred a great Robert Englund) is under way. It's title: 2002 Maniacs: Beverly Hellbillies.

-Yet another release date change is for the remake of Pulse, whicj as you've most likely seen on commercials, is going to be out August 25th.

They have moved Pulse's date about three times now. Talk about confusing. I keep seeing previews for it on TV two weeks at a time, then they drop out. Weird way to try to market this.

OT: I'm thinking of naming my first born

Dario Argento Houle

He would keep my last name but have an Italian first name which would please my mother's side of the family very much!

Now they are saying it opens on Friday. The release date getting bounced around this much doesn't fill me with much hope for the film now.

Yeah they must have re-pulled back the original date from the Aug. 25 one. I am seeing shit-tons of previews for this right now on TV and the local theatre already has it listed for Friday release.

I think you mean Sept 22/23 for the Feast showings. I cant believe they have taken this long to get this fuckin thing out, and much less they dont even have a website up....YET. I mean WTF is the deal here?

Anyway I'm still very excited to see it but its just really messed up how long they've delayed this one. Far worse than the whole Pulse fiasco. They could have earned something though off the heels of Greenlight, but my assumption is they balked at the cross promotion when Greenlight kind of bombed in the ratings, IIRC.
