Guest Shadow Report post Posted June 7, 2002 Well, I'd like to be watching Smackdown, except my New York affilaite UPN is currently showing George 'Duh, I Can't Spell' Bush's stupid-ass speech like EVERY OTHER FUCKING CHANNEL! What exactly is the mother fucking point of putting the same speech on FIVE OUT OF SIX OF THE MOTHER FUCKING BROADCAST CHANNELS! Are viewers going to go watch the one with the bottom graphic they like the most? I mean fucking hell, just put on Smackdown and let the people who want to see the speech go to CBS, NBC, FOX, or ABC- it's not like anyone watches UPN for the news anyway. Geez. I hate America. Guest J*ingus Report post Posted June 7, 2002 Battle royal to start... and the first three guys out were Godfather, Faroocq, and D'Von. Does anyone else find that a LITTLE odd that the black guys went first? (And were promptly followed by all the cruiserweights in Kidman, Christian, and Lance Storm.) Another thing about gbattle royals that actually make me hate the WW(F)E: teasing matches that you'll NEVER get to see because of lame political reasons. Lance Storm vs. Hulk Hogan. Chris Jericho vs. Al Snow. Hurricane vs. Kurt Angle. Chavo Guerrero Jr. vs. Triple H. See what I mean?
Guest J*ingus Report post Posted June 7, 2002 Damn, how bout that Jericho elmination? He tumbled out so hard that he crashed up onto and then THROUGH the announce table. In other news, Hogan's punches still suck. He should really find a few other offensive moves to use. (But it was pretty damn funny when HHH sneak-attacked him when Hogan was doing the shirt-tearing routine.)
Guest Sakura Report post Posted June 7, 2002 This is the first time I've watched Smackdown in months. In fact, that was the first time I've ever actually seen Rico. Pretty sad. Is there a storyline reason Billy and Chuck keep getting title shots? Why doesn't Rico just let them win?
Guest Nevermortal Report post Posted June 7, 2002 Is there a storyline reason Billy and Chuck keep getting title shots? Why doesn't Rico just let them win? Nope, no story. They're the only tag team.
Guest Shadow Report post Posted June 7, 2002 Well, they finally got away from The Man Who Won Presidency Without Being Voted For It's speech to Smackdown during the end of the Battle Royale- i.e. missing all the good parts. Some notes so far: -Hardcore Holly's catchphrase sucks. -Billy Gunn can't even do the Sterotypical Gay Character right. -Why the fuck is the first-ever Undisputed World Champion in the King of the Ring Tournament?
Guest Sakura Report post Posted June 7, 2002 The same reason Kurt was in it last year. Something to do and so he can say he won it.
Guest Sakura Report post Posted June 7, 2002 Wow, that sure sucked. Bad mic work all around. What IDIOT came up with the Big Valbowski name?
Guest J*ingus Report post Posted June 7, 2002 Vince Russo, who else? And the people who said that Nidia performed her part well in the skit were complete and utter liars.
Guest Report post Posted June 7, 2002 REDNECK MESSIAH!
Guest J*ingus Report post Posted June 7, 2002 The TE2 winners show up, and are both immedietly hit on and slobbered over by Vince. Welcome to the WW(F)E, ladies. Have fun and try not to let the door hit you in the ass on the way out in about three years.
Guest Sakura Report post Posted June 7, 2002 Knoble looks and sounds like a complete dumbass. I don't understand how he can just show up in wrestling tights and wander around the halls waiting for Hurricane to show up so he can attack him and then suddenly have a job and be a contender for a title. Guest TheHulkster Report post Posted June 7, 2002 I don't know if i'm alone on this one, but I thought Nidia looked pretty hot tonight. Val vs Christian was off the hook too, Val has improved by leaps and bounds.
Guest Report post Posted June 7, 2002 1.Nydia-and-Jamie-Knoble-have-Horrible-Mic-Skills Knoble:Come-on,Boy!Get-up,Boy! Nydia:HAHAHA,get-him,Honey!HAHAHA 2.Was-Vince-just-checking-out-Jackie?
Guest Sakura Report post Posted June 7, 2002 The guy in the crowd with a wig and head gear like Kurt rules. "How do you like me now?" What the fuck? And that pop Hardcore got had to be canned.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Report post Posted June 7, 2002 1.Nydia-and-Jamie-Knoble-have-Horrible-Mic-Skills Knoble:Come-on,Boy!Get-up,Boy! Nydia:HAHAHA,get-him,Honey!HAHAHA Well, I think that was intentional, at least on Knoble's part. He's playing a redneck (I assume), so he's using a "Redneck accent". Guest Mark4steamboat Report post Posted June 7, 2002 I dont blame Vince for checking out jackie. Nidia looked hotter than she did on TE1 and the finale for TE2. Knoble sounds like a redneck dumbass but he has very good in ring skills. Nidia is a slut though. Just look at the kiss. Who believed that Hurricane and Nidia dated? How about the canned audience reaction since that segment was taped but not shown to the crowd. Silly Vince, tricks are for kids, not for smarks.
Guest HartFan86 Report post Posted June 7, 2002 Tajiri is now the funniest man on Smackdown.
Guest J*ingus Report post Posted June 7, 2002 TAJIRI FUCKING RULES. Vince, put the IC belt on this guy YESTERDAY and push him to the fucking moon. "No lass name! Juss Maven!" Torrie taking off her shirt is nothing new by now, but the fact that it was a Moulin Rouge shirt was pretty cool.
Guest Will Scarlet Report post Posted June 7, 2002 Yeah. That canned heat was annoying tonight in the skits. *someone really evil comes in.* Audience: Booo!!! Boooo!!! It was far too annoying for me.
Guest Mark4steamboat Report post Posted June 7, 2002 I like hardcore holly but he just doesnt have charisma. He was a good trainer on TE2 but i dont think he should get a push. After every TE, are the trainers going to get a push? If so, give CHAVO! a push damnit.
Guest RicFlairGlory Report post Posted June 7, 2002 Whats Edge's REAL injury again? Oh and wow, Val is gonna get the push?
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Report post Posted June 7, 2002 TAJIRI IS A HOSPITAL DEMON!!! God, that was like a Sam Raimi movie. Beaaaautiful.
Guest Risk Report post Posted June 7, 2002 Wow. Both Lance Storm and Billy Kidman BOTH get mic time AND a match. That's new. I wonder if Kidman dances for Torrie is those tights. BULGE~! Wow. Cole is putting over Storm.
Guest Will Scarlet Report post Posted June 7, 2002 I loved that Tajiri scene. Tajiri was just so awesome. Great scene.
Guest Your Olympic Hero Report post Posted June 7, 2002 Storm vs. Kidman was short and sweet, and Storm finally got a win. Storm threw a SWEET~! dropkick to knock Kidman off the top to the floor towards the beginning of the match. Now we get HHH vs. HHH.... NOOOOO
Guest Shadow Report post Posted June 7, 2002 Nice little match there, has been a pretty good, if a bit uneventful, Smackdown so far. INTENSE~! time, as an HHH interview is up next. Look at it this way: HHH is still a better Undisputed Champion than Taker or Hogan (and if any of the HHHaters dispute that, they are obviously leading their bias severley cloud their judgement). Guest Your Olympic Hero Report post Posted June 7, 2002 Wow, that Triple-H sure gives intense interviews. Breathtaking.
