Scroby 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2006 I really like the game but due to some things annoying the hell out of me, I'm not playing it all that much. 1. The save system: It seems that Capcom went to the old school save system, having save points good distances between each other, and after doing a few things I have no idea where to go to save and if I die, I'm doing a lot of things over. 2. The small white text: What the hell man? SERIOUSLY WHAT THE HELL!? The small text wouldn't be so bad if it was another color but man....I don't like the fact I have to squint every time I need to read something. 3. The map: So the map outlines the mall, but if I highlight a store, why doesn't the map tell me what store I have my arrow on? (Maybe it does, but I haven't noticed it) 4. Not knowing how much time I have when I need to do something or save someone. I don't understand that bar thing.
FroGG_NeaL 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2006 You can also save in the restrooms around the mall.

dubq 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2006 What are the odds that this game will make it to any of the other systems?
AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2006 I wouldn't entirely rule it out, but Capcom's been giving Sony and MS each their own (current) exclusives. I doubt Wii, but we know PS3 can handle it. It's just a question of how easy a port it would be. I'd expect it to be a "timed exclusive" at most.
dubq 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2006 I was thinking the same thing. It didn't take long for Capcom to go back on their "exclusive to the Gamecube" ruling for RE4.
AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2006 Lots of things went awry on that deal. RE4 didn't sell all that hot, ditto VJ, PN03 was meh on a cracker, Dead Phoenix looked fantastic but was cancelled, and Killer 7 was...well, not exactly a game with wide appeal. However, that vid makes me actually look forward to a new Mega Man Legends game--or better yet, a new Tron Bonne. Like that's ever going to happen...
Sly 0 Report post Posted September 4, 2006 I rented it over this weekend and had much of the same frustrations. Repeated deaths that just frustrate you enough to stop playing for a while. It's a blast to kill all the zombies, though, and I would probably pick it up a ways down the road either used or as a value game... but I don't want to pay $50 - $60 bucks for it (I don't know how much it retails at). There are a lot of games that I've been finding used for like $10 that will provide me with just as much entertainment.
