Gary Floyd 0 Report post Posted August 10, 2006 Ever seen "Blue Velvet"? The tagline to that movie is "It's a strange world". How true that is. Anyways, I was working in my summer volunteering job today, when I fleetingly mentioned that I'm a fan of pro-wrestling. The guy working with me reveals that he sometimes works in local independent shows under the pseudonym "Coach Dillon". At first, I thought he was bullshitting me, but he then shows me clips of him in action. Well, it's all true: The guy I work with is an indy wrestler. I was silent for God knows how long. We spent the remaining five minutes talking about wrestling, and how he was at the Brian Pillman Memorial show of 2000, and got to see Benoit vs. Regal live, from the sixth row. Holy fucking shit. You have no idea how right you were when your movie said "It's a strange world" David Lynch.
HollywoodSpikeJenkins 0 Report post Posted August 11, 2006 At the next show he is working, jump the rail and attack him from behind. Then you guys will have something to talk about the next day at work.
Guest DRH 502 Report post Posted August 11, 2006 Heh you'd be surprised. I wrestled my first pro match at 15...imagine that shit. But i know what you mean. I frame houses for a living, and one old ass chick I knew used to do work for the redcross and she had pictures of her flying with Hulk Hogan and Vince McMahon on their private jet. The WWF one. Yeah. I know right?
