cawthon777 Posted August 19, 2006 Report Posted August 19, 2006 ECW is running the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium Saturday, Sept. 2. They're in Greenwood, SC the following night. I already have two ringside seats for Spartanburg. I think Greenwood is an hour away. I was thinking about making a weekend of it. I believe there are a few posters on here from the area so if anyone's interseted in coming with let me know.

fisticuffs Posted August 19, 2006 Report Posted August 19, 2006 The Carolinas have traditionally been a wrestling hotbed - especially Greensboro, Charlotte, and Greenville. I live in NC and I've never heard of many events running out of those 2 arenas, so I doubt that they're too big to host ECW.

The RAW was marked & hicked out, even though the ringside signs and fans made up for some of it. SD! on the other hand in D.C. had a good mix of ECW & SD fans, even though I had about 5 ROHbots sitting right behind me being somewhat annoying during the show.
