Ive had this question ever since they announced Gerwitz would be writing Raw and Heyman smackdown...In this case, what is the difference between booker and writer?..I mean, Heyman isnt necessarily singlehandedly booking smackdown is he?..Does he even have any more power?...Is it like Stephanie, Shane, Vince, et al. tell Gerwitz and Heyman what they want generally to happen (who wins championships, who gets pushed, etc etc) and tell them to write it, or what?...Just wondering..

Vince says what point A is and what point z is (usually for a handful of big characters/ stories. sometimes he has been know to do it for leeser guys if he has one he really likes, an idea he likes.) He probably decides who gets what belt besides the Hardcore, and what the main events will always be.

 

Steph gives the point A through point Z for almost all the other characters and stories

 

Guerwitz , Heyman et all flesh out points b-y for everything and create for anyone left out of the loop. All subject to Steph/Vince.

 

the agents work out the match details being given specific points pre-determined, they just add the story in the ring, and put together most of the house show filler.
