But, I question how good a few of them are. Wetterich is a total scrub who only made the team because he had a hot month after Augusta. Where nobody cares. The US points system for this year's Ryder Cup was so awful.

The US points system for this year's Ryder Cup was so awful. You're probably right, but the European team won with inferior talent the last two Ryder Cup's. If anything the comments by that Irish tabloid should fire up the US team.

Sergio's record is very good. And he's Europe's motivational leader or something. Tiger's record is like 7-12, whatever they said on PTI yesterday. He doesn't give a shit about Ryder Cup. If Sergio can motivate Tiger, it's better for everyone. Because the US is going to need all the help they can get to keep this close.

It could have been worse for the Americans -- Europe was leading in every match at one point on the back nine. Lefty and DiMarco were dormie in their match and couldn't pull out the win, though. The Americans are going to need to play at least even with the Europeans tomorrow to have a decent shot at winning the Cup.

They just got outplayed, plain and simple. I think you'd be hard-pressed to find 12 guys who could have beaten Europe this week, they way they played and especially the way they putted.
