JJMc 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2006 Is it possible to copy songs from an iTunes library over a local network to another computer? I know that you can listen to them, but I was just wondering if there's a way to transfer them. I'm on a Mac, by the way.

Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted September 22, 2006 I'm on a Mac, by the way. I can tell. If you have a network drive set up, you can drag and drop the files into a folder you have set up for networking, and that's all you need to do to transfer files over a network connection, whether it be music or what have you. You might want to figure out where your "iTunes library" is located on your hard drive first.
Edwin MacPhisto 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2006 How do you listen to other peoples? You have to be on the same network as them and have iTunes sharing enabled on the preferences. Then any other available libraries will come up in the sidebar like a playlist. Really cool if you're at a university or an office with tons of people on the same wireless network.
