“Howsyou like et?”

 

A somewhat off Brazilian accent quickly asks almost flamboyantly.

 

“It’s quite nice, quite nice,” repeats a familiar, American accent as the camera inches in on the back of a masked head. The hand of the speaker scopes around the mask, feeling it, scanning the cartoon like grin painted on the front of it, the diamond-like shapes scaling slightly off the side jaggedly, their purple hue gleaming in the lights above the man’s head. “Oh, what a glorious mug this is,” again, the speaker scans the mask, the mirror in front of him reflecting back the eerie looking joker-like smile on the front of the mask, cartoonish in its existence, “Elegant, and yet, oddly individual. Yes, I’d say I more than like it.”

 

“Thasgood.”

 

Once again the Brazilian accent finds its way into the dialogue and yet, oddly, the speaker seemingly isn’t present.

 

“Indeed it is good,” concurs the masked character smoothly and charismatically, “But will the others like it?”

 

“Eh…er, zey have thee choyse?”

 

“No,” the hand once again feels the mask intently, now going to the dome of it, his hand flamboyantly tumbling through the flowing locks of hair presenting themselves through tiny slits in the top, intermixed with wire-like purple tubes extending and mixing off the top with the man’s long, black hair, “But I’m sure they’ll like it nonetheless, who couldn’t?”

 

“Right, right.”

 

“I hope you’re eager, my friend,” his hand suddenly drops his hair and falls at his side.

 

“Oh, I’m most certainly eager.”

 

Oddly, though, the normal, unaccented voice answers back. The camera pulls back completely, identifying the entire room and confirming the nonexistent presence of a Brazilian to accompany the strange accent and two-way dialogue. The masked man turns around, facing the camera with the eerie grin becoming even more so as it comes into plain view. Ever so slightly, the man tilts his head on an angle, the smile accompanying his beady, albino-like pupils. The camera fades, providing with it several unanswered questions.

I like this a lot. A lot. Like a comic book villain.
