Gary Floyd 0 Report post Posted September 27, 2006 Well, a friend of mine let me borrow the new DJ Shadow cd "The Outsider", and all I have to say is...Goddamnit. This album sucks. I knew the album was going to have some hyphy tacks, as well as David Banner, but I still tried to keep an open mind. Hell, I know he doesn't want to put out more albums like "Endtroducing" or "Private Press", and I don't blame him, as I think an artist should always stray away from formula a bit. This time though, it really backfires. Almost every track on this (Even the one with Q-Tip) sucks. There's no focus in the album, no redeeming qualities, no nothing. Some tracks even sound like (ugh) Coldplay with a turntableist at helm. Worst fucking album of the year, and the most disappointing. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
