Its looking like 3 of the 6-2 division leading teams in the AFC are in danger of losing (SD,NE,Baltimore) to teams with .500 records or worse.

 

Ravens need to pull this one out..they could at least be remotely back in it here depending on if they score or not.

These NFL rules..

 

Hobson hits Brady right about the same time as he's throwing, and Brady throws a pick. Turns out the rule is you can't lift the QB off the ground or something like that, so it was a roughing the passer. The Pats later get a FG on the drive, and it's now Jets 7-6.

 

Next year, the rule will be you cannot touch the quarterback unless you first hand him a note stating you plan to hit him and then you may gently tap him in the hope he falls over. Anything more than a tap shall be 15 yards.

 

Also, David Garrard is NOT the quarterback the Jags need to be considering. 10 for 21 for 106 yards with three INTs. Leftwich could have done that.

I knew this would be a close game but I figured it would be the Ravens building up the early lead only to let it get close late..not any of this 26 points in the first half crap..

Heres a new one..Titans challenged a fumble that was clearly a fumble but the refs called down by contact on the field..the review came back and because there was a huge pile/scrum for the football, the refs held the call of down by contact because they couldn't see who recovered the football even though the Titans came out of the pile with it.

Titans fans are going nuts, theres been about 5 penalties against the Titans plus that blown fumble call.

 

Titans fumbled on a fake kick on 4th down, and they got the first down but the rule is that the only guy that can advance a fumble on 4th down is the guy that fumbled it so Ravens ball instead of Titans ball.

And after that missed FG, Buffalo is unable to stop the Colts' running game, and Indy runs the clock out to escape with a 17-16 win. UGH. Buffalo could have had that game. on both that and earlier in the game when McGee ran a kickoff back all the way down to the 12, and Buffalo could only get a FG off of it.

Big win for the Jets; the defense finally stepped up, and the offense had long ass drives. The win also ended the Pat consecutive losses streak, none in 57 games.

I'm sure the Jets have a great defense and all, but man is the Patriots offense miserable right now. And it's not just the receivers, its the play calling. The ground game was working and AGAIN they just abandon it. There is no reason Brady should be throwing the ball 37 times when Dillon is averaging 8.9 yards a carry. It's starting to piss me off now.

 

Also, the Texans have swept the Jags on the season with a 13-10 win.
