MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2006 Its looking like 3 of the 6-2 division leading teams in the AFC are in danger of losing (SD,NE,Baltimore) to teams with .500 records or worse. Ravens need to pull this one out..they could at least be remotely back in it here depending on if they score or not. 26-17 Titans at the Half after Stover nails his 35th straight FG

2GOLD 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2006 These NFL rules.. Hobson hits Brady right about the same time as he's throwing, and Brady throws a pick. Turns out the rule is you can't lift the QB off the ground or something like that, so it was a roughing the passer. The Pats later get a FG on the drive, and it's now Jets 7-6. Next year, the rule will be you cannot touch the quarterback unless you first hand him a note stating you plan to hit him and then you may gently tap him in the hope he falls over. Anything more than a tap shall be 15 yards. Also, David Garrard is NOT the quarterback the Jags need to be considering. 10 for 21 for 106 yards with three INTs. Leftwich could have done that. USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2006 It's lights out for SD without Lights Out. 21-0 at the end of 1, is just embarassing on so many levels. Really? Really. Palmer's 1st half stats - 20/23, 282 yds, 2 TD Yes, my really was of the sarcastic "Yeah duh!" variety.
Richard 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2006 The best thing about morning games is I'm usually too tired to pay attention to what's going on in the game. Unfortunately, I'm wide awake now.
Guest Paul Report post Posted November 12, 2006 Weren't people predicting the Skins to be, ya know, good this year? I mean, the Eagles of all teams are making them look like shit. The Ravens are who I thought they were.
USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2006 Well they have every reason to be, until you remember who their starting QB is. (About the Skins)
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2006 Weren't people predicting the Skins to be, ya know, good this year? I mean, the Eagles of all teams are making them look like shit. The Ravens are who I thought they were. a 6-2 team? And at least for now, they are moving the ball offensively, a score here would put them right back in the game when it looked horrible down 26-7. I knew this would be a close game but I figured it would be the Ravens building up the early lead only to let it get close late..not any of this 26 points in the first half crap.. and Im begging SD to pull out something vs Cincy..28-14 now there. 2GOLD 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2006 Weren't people predicting the Skins to be, ya know, good this year? I mean, the Eagles of all teams are making them look like shit. The Ravens are who I thought they were. The Redskins were going to live or die on what Burnell showed up for the season. Either they got "kinda old but can still go" Mark or "dear god, why haven't you retired yet?" Mark. He's been bouncing back and forth this season between the two versions of himself. And how about that J.P Losman? 6 of 10 for 49 yards. The Bills apparently going for a high school type of offense.

Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2006 Another injury for Cincinnati. I believe Carson Palmer, a guy coming off that really bad injury is the only player on the Bengals team this year to not get injured.

MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2006 This Ravens game is getting ugly. The Ravens are gonna be 3rd down and about 40 here maybe..or not..clearly the Titans will win the challenge and the fumble.
KingPK 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2006 (edited) Bill Belichick has been outcoached, in consecutive weeks, by Tony Dungy and Eric Mangini. There's something wrong here. Apparently the entire offensive team hit their heads and forgot the meaning of the words "Play action pass" Edited November 12, 2006 by KingPK
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2006 So will Jason Campbell ever play in Washington? Ever? Cause you know, I'm starting to think it wouldn't hurt to give him a look. Like right now, in this game.
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2006 Heres a new one..Titans challenged a fumble that was clearly a fumble but the refs called down by contact on the field..the review came back and because there was a huge pile/scrum for the football, the refs held the call of down by contact because they couldn't see who recovered the football even though the Titans came out of the pile with it. MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2006 Titans fans are going nuts, theres been about 5 penalties against the Titans plus that blown fumble call. Titans fumbled on a fake kick on 4th down, and they got the first down but the rule is that the only guy that can advance a fumble on 4th down is the guy that fumbled it so Ravens ball instead of Titans ball. fazzle 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2006 AUGH! Indy fumbles the ball, and the Bills bring it down to the Colts' 15 yard line. Next 3 plays: -2 yard run, -6 yard sack, FG attempt goes wide right. That was Buffalo's chance to steal the game, and they blew it.
Richard 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2006 Holy mother of god, we're leading!!!!!!11111 I swear on my mother's grave, if we hold on to this lead, I'll track down Marty and offer to suck his balls.
fazzle 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2006 And after that missed FG, Buffalo is unable to stop the Colts' running game, and Indy runs the clock out to escape with a 17-16 win. UGH. Buffalo could have had that game. on both that and earlier in the game when McGee ran a kickoff back all the way down to the 12, and Buffalo could only get a FG off of it. Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2006 A piece of shit move from McCree on TJ. Shit like that deserves an ejection but he'll get a tiny slap on the wrist fine.
Brett Favre 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2006 That guy should be ejected. Big win for the Jets; the defense finally stepped up, and the offense had long ass drives. The win also ended the Pat consecutive losses streak, none in 57 games.
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2006 I'm sure the Jets have a great defense and all, but man is the Patriots offense miserable right now. And it's not just the receivers, its the play calling. The ground game was working and AGAIN they just abandon it. There is no reason Brady should be throwing the ball 37 times when Dillon is averaging 8.9 yards a carry. It's starting to piss me off now. Also, the Texans have swept the Jags on the season with a 13-10 win.

naiwf 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2006 A piece of shit move from McCree on TJ. Shit like that deserves an ejection but he'll get a tiny slap on the wrist fine. Word. If he'd put that hit on Palmer he would have been run from the game, but WR's and RB's can get murdered with no repercussions apparently. The Jets getting hosed in that Cleveland game looms even larger right now thanks to the Pats laying an egg.
Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2006 42-41 with 8 minutes to go. What is this, a college game? This reminds me of the Cincy/Cleveland game from a couple seasons ago but only with more on the line and more hard hits and such. I think both teams could easily get into the 50's.
