Scroby 0 Report post Posted November 17, 2006 The weekend of Dec. 8th, I got offered to Referee a wrestling show in Oregon and I think I'm going to try and plan a road trip up there. If not, plan on factoring in an extra 25 a day, also get an Entertainment book or use your AAA membership if you have one for good deals. Last month I had to go to Orange County for orientation and so I decided to make a weekend out of it and I got through Alamo a midsize with a 5 dollars off a day coupon for like 150 (it would have been half that if it was 8 months later). Red Baron 0 Report post Posted November 18, 2006 Some rental companies might not even let you rent a car if you are under 25. Enterprise and Hertz are pretty good from what I've heard. My gf rented a 06 Corrolla for two weeks since her car was totalled. Best ride ever. Also make sure you take care of the car and keep it in mint condition. Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted November 18, 2006 Seriously, Hertz is renting these. It's the Shelby Mustang GT-H, H for "Hertz," and only in that color scheme. They aren't for sale at Ford dealerships. Amped up versions of regular GTs (330hp, lowered springs, tighter steering ratio, etc.). See if one's available at your local office. There aren't any special requirements other than a driver's license. It was done back when the Mustang was first released as well, except the ones then were high-performance virtual "rent-a-racers" that people literally took to the track for the weekend and brought back on Monday morning.
