CanadianGuitarist 0 Report post Posted November 20, 2006 Literally, my screen went black for five seconds, then everything was huge. It was like in World 4 in Mario 3. Windows Help only led me to making the icons bigger, which is salting the wound. Help?
Guest Princess Leena Report post Posted November 20, 2006 My guess is that your screen resolution changed somehow. Did you close out of a game before this happened?

CanadianGuitarist 0 Report post Posted November 20, 2006 Not quite. Can anyone tell me, as an example, what their res is? Would it even neccessarily make a difference? When I opened my start menu earlier, I was told to "make icons smaller", as they were too big to show all the programs listed under said start menu...anyone know how to do that? Guest Princess Leena Report post Posted November 22, 2006 My res here is 1024x768. I think most use 800x600. You can change that by going Start -> Control Panel -> Display -> Settings. I only know how to make larger icons... Display again -> Appearance, and choose large icons.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted November 23, 2006 I think 800x600 is too low for most Windows XP desktops. I use 1024x768 on my regular monitor and 1440x900 on my 19" LCD HDTV/PC monitor.

Jaxxson Mayhem 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2006 Windows Magnifier might be on. Turn that off and your problem might be solved.
