As much as I love golf in general, and the Masters tournament in particular, this probably could have gone in Comments that don't warrant a thread.

Better yet, you could have started a "PGA TOUR- January" Thread, which is only 15 days from starting.

 

Davis Love III, for the record, made almost the exact same shot in 1999, also on Sunday.

Oh, and I hated this Masters. Because Tiger should have choked that Masters away, and I want DiMarco with a slam. Grar.

Davis also hit a nice shot.

 

It was similar, but Tiger had a much harder lie. The kind of lie that makes you either skull the ball over the green or hit very fat. The path the ball took in the end also makes this shot more special, as it stopped on the lip.

Any amateur golfer would have used a seven iron to bump and run the shot. You do lose lots of spin though.

 

But we are amateur's, not Tiger Woods.
