After some funny/lame student matches Homicide had an opening interview with some hot brunette dish whose name I didn't catch. Sweeney came out to talk some trash to set up Hero running in for the beat down. Rocky Romero came out and ran them off and later asked Homicide "Where he had been for the last year." Ooh tension.

1) Rocky Romero over Davey Richards via submission

Really good match with a nice build to the finish as Romero wasn't someone I was familiar with but I defiantly am now. I'm guessing this was the point of course as they let them go long. Romero went totally Kurt Angle at the end with various ankle locks for the tap out.

2) Jack Evans over Eddie Edwards via pinfall

I saw some of Edwards during AmDrags tour of NOAH and didn't hate him. He was very good here and eventually won the crowd over. Jack Evans was allot of fun doing his flippy moves and taking a nice powerbomb into the apron. Evans won after the 630.

3) Delirious and Pelle Primeau over Adam Pearce and Shane Hagadorn when Delirious made Hagadorn tap. Pearce was brawling with Pelle outside the ring during the submission.

Eh, this didn't do much for me.

4) Jimmy Jacobs, Brent Albright, and Lacey over Colt Cabana, BJ Whitmer, and Daizee Haze when Jacobs pinned Daizee after putting her thru a table. Don't quote me on the finish. Daizee got a standing O from the crowd.

The heels jumped the faces during their entrance and it was a 6 way brawl in different parts of the building. This caused me to miss what happened to Daizee Haze who ended up with a "Nigel Like" golf ball sized knot on her forehead. Lacey worked around her for the most part falling back into manager mode while Haze recovered. Recovered only just in time to take a wicked German suplex from Albright and have Jacobs do a senton splash off the top onto "The Haze" thru a table for the pin. The standing O was very deserved on her part as it was part of trying to get her to her feet since they crushed her pretty damn bad. For me this pretty much stole the show.

~Return date to Braintree in June 8, 2007. Tree also told me the venue is packed...like the best-drawn event in Braintree EVER!

Yeah, it was pretty damn crowded. Then again so was the show in November. I can say they did sell allot of merch this night so it seems ROH has got it self a nice foot hold in this area once again.

5) Samoa Joe over Nigel McGuinness via submission. Jimmy Rave attacked Joe after the match.

Very good match. Both guys are working at their peak right now and it is great to see. Nigel even kicked out of the first Muscle Buster but fell into the kokina clutch but I think it was ref stoppage instead of a tap.

6) Jimmy Rave won the Four Corner Survival over Jason Blade, Shingo, and Christopher Daniels when he made Daniels tap to the 'Heel Hook'.

Nothing ground breaking here but very solid for a return from intermission match. Daniels was waaaaaay over. Shingo was cool with his uber-mullet. Blade looked good as well but Rave winning annoys me and it deflated the crowd a bit.

7) Homicide pinned Chris Hero following "the sickest Cop Killa I've ever seen."

Hero played the crowd with his heel tomfoolery for awhile to the point I almost forgot Homicide was in the match. Pretty good match though it never looked like Hero got close to beating 'Cide. Yep, that Cop Killer was fucking gross. I want to be Julius Smokes when I grow up.

8) ~Briscoe’s take fall #1 after a spike Jay-Driller on Strong

~Briscoe’s take fall #2 after spike Jay-Driller on Aries

~Briscoe’s win 2 falls to 0.

I'm proud of myself for making the call that the Briscoe’s were going to win 2 straight. Very cool curveball tossed in what is normally very dangerous booking for Aries and Strong. Pinning both guys with the same move almost erases the 3 losses they got handed last year. The Briscoe’s are an awesome fucking team. Not sure the 2nd fall should have been as short as it was. But it was a great match.

Very good show overall and I'm kind of sad that they won't be coming back until June. Might have to make a trip to one of the New York shows or the CT. show they announced. Still, we were very worried that since we had received the wrong tickets that we might not get in. We got 3rd row seats for the show tonight in Edison by mistake. But they took really good care of us and didn't give us anything remotely resembling a hard time. As a result I will keep going to ROH shows.

Yeah, it was Becky Bayless, though she is being called "Rebecca" now.

The show was awesome, indeed. Well worth the drive and the cost of admission.

I also got the stiffest high five of my life from Roderick Strong after the show. I marked out.

I was shocked to read that Aries and Strong got zero wins last night. I was expecting the Briscoes to get the win but not like that. I don't mind it though. It's good build for the Briscoes.

Nigel has been getting absolutely no love these past months. Haha. I'm not a big fan of his but dang. Ah well, he's over as hell and it's not hurting him. I don't think anyone was expecting him to beat Joe anyway.

I can't wait for tonight. I was scheduled for job training this week and swore I'd get hit with bad luck and would have to do it tonight but luckily, I don't.
