I have a desktop and a laptop. I edit my library on my ipod from my desktop but i'm also trying to do it from my laptop . I'm trying to put songs on my ipod from my laptop but i don't know how to do it. Is it possible?

Yes, the same way you would do it on a desktop. Just sync it.

It won't work with just synching. You have to move your library over from your desktop to your laptop either with a data transfer (like Vista's file synching program) or by doing what I did and copying your library to an external hard drive, then switch the hard drive to your laptop and copy again.

 

It's a pain in the ass, but apparently iTunes only allows you to synch to one computer at a time.

I used a program called Senuti when I got my laptop, but I think it only works for Mac. You sync up your iPod to the new computer and transfer songs directly from the iPod.
