Here he gets to blow the roof off one last time against his best friend. No need for storyline purposes or putting someone over. I was hoping they'd do Joe/Cide Vs Briscoes for the titles since Briscoes and Homicide were among his biggest rivals and he never captured the triple crown and getting one last shot on his way out as London and Punk (before the swerve) would have fitting but a singles match here is fine.
