There's some kind of a buzzer going off at a nearby business

So I'm slumming around the apartment and I hear four or five loud beeps from outside, and then this LOUD buzzer started going off. It's currently half past five in the morning. This has been going on for an hour. My fiancee (who has to be at work in a couple of hours) has never had such an explicit interest in guns as she does right now. Birds are already chirping, too. Ah, the perils of working days.

Yeah, the weather has become noticeably better around here which has lead to the return of the Birds From Hell who sit outside my window every morning, starting at around 2 am. Fucking birds were the reason I spent a large portion of my spring/summer of last year sleeping in the basement. I mean, I don't want to kill them or anything but I see no other option on how I'll be getting any sleep from now on.

There's a warehouse/yard for a garden centre or something out back, and the first few times we heard their alarm system get triggered it said 'THIS AREA IS PRIVATE PROPERTY THE POLICE HAVE BEEN CALLED' etc, but a couple of times it just made various barnyard animal noises.

New neighbors upstairs! It's a family of elephants, by the sounds of things. Drunk ones that open and close their sliding door fifty times a day. Not as bad as the rugby people I lived under in college, but god damn.
