Feedback Thread For The March 29, 2007 OAOAST HeldDOWN~!

Man, was this the shortest edition of HeldDOWN~! ever? That kinda sucks. But I guess that means that everyone, including myself, are concentrating more on our AngleMania matches, which is good in a way.

 

HeldDOWN~! was good this week, even if it was short. I liked Cole's explanation at the beginning of the show for why alot of the wrestlers weren't there. The Money In The Bank segment was awesome. My favourite segment this week. I loved the Brock Ausstin tumbler. That wasn't lame, KC! That was funny! "After Hours" Felix Strutter vs. Scotty Static was awesome. Match of the night. What happened to the James Riggs/Gibaltar match? Another Nerdly? They really are the Dudleyz of the OAOAST. Nice debut for Maggie Nerdly. I loved Coach's comments, especially at the end. Patty O'Green should never leave the OAOAST ever again. And if I needed more proof of that, I just needed to read the next segment, which was awesome too. I'm glad Abdullah Nerdly is a regular character in the OAOAST now. The main event was good. Nice way to build up the two tag team matches. I loved Chicks Over Dicks on commentary. They were awesome. Alix talking about shooting Krista with tranqulizer darts made me LOL. The last segment with Zack Malibu and Drek Stone was short and to the point. It reminded me of the last Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin segment before WrestleMania X-Seven on SmackDown! back in 2001. They both said their final thoughts before they battle this Sunday. Very good way to build to the main event, and it was great to see Zack and Drek finally duke it out. And hey, PRL got namechecked! That's always good!

 

All in all, this was some nice final buildup to AngleMania VI: Etched In Stone, even if it was short. Though I'm sure AngleMania VI will be a huge show to make up for it this Sunday. This year's show should be awesome! I'm really looking forward to it. Only two more days away!

There was once a show so short the only matches were reposts of ones that took place a year before. Then there was the show that had exactly zero matches! Then there was the show which had no real mainevent, so I ended it by having the entire arena be swallowed into a dimensional vortex. Technically, we're still there. So ends your short journey through the disgraced history of HeldDOWN.
