Guest Anglesault Report post Posted June 15, 2002 Well, they chased Austin out of the company. I didn't think rocky was coming back to this shit anyway, but after Shawn's little potshots, I'd say the chance has slimmed down even more. IF Austin and Rock are GONE, never to reurn (Which i feal they both are) then Clique 2.0 has just eliminated to major threats. My question is, if this IS what they are doing, who's next on the chopping board? Taker? Hogan? A lower carder who poses a threat to Hunter? Post your thoughts. Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted June 15, 2002 Post your thoughts. you're an idiot would be the first one. the "clique" will get shitcanned by vince as soon as any trouble starts up with them. vince learned his mistakes in 95 and 96 by letting michaels and co. have too much power and it almost cost him then. remember, HE'S VINCE MCMAHON DAMMIT!!!!!! Yeah, Vince McMahon has learned his lesson. That's why it's happening again. Or is it al just coincidence that the shit started as soon as the Clique reunited? Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted June 15, 2002 your little paranoid head thinks it is happening again, but there is no proof of it. the wwe is run a lot differently than it was back when the "clique" had all their so called power.
Guest Ash Ketchum Report post Posted June 15, 2002 I guess so... But they still have a bigger voic, smaller than last time, but big enough.
Guest Report post Posted June 15, 2002 I'm suprised a group of wrestlers, if the cligue shit keeps happening, don't go up to Vince and be all like "It's the Cligue or Us" and if he fires them than boo hoo..off to japan or to be a weekend warrior. Least thats what i would do..that and play political games against HBK and Co.
Guest RetroRob215 Report post Posted June 15, 2002 I wouldn't say the Clique drove Steve Austin out of the WWE. That was all Vince McMahon and the writers. Austin was pissed off for months before the Clique reunited.
Guest Report post Posted June 15, 2002 Booker T is next. The nWo will make him their personal jobber. After that Benoit would be next. Remember, he is a vanilla midget according to Kevin Nash. After that, I think they'll go after Brock Lesnar.. The Clique has more power than ever now, since HHH is fucking the boss's daughter and head writer that overlooks all storylines. Guest Anglesault Report post Posted June 15, 2002 Autin's unmotivated run began in February, having a BRUTAL match with Jericho at NWO. Shortly there after he started his midcard depush with...Scott Hall. He could have been pissed before that, but he sure as hell didn't show it on TV And Tony, do you really think Vince would fire his daughter's boyfriend? Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted June 15, 2002 Booker T is next. The nWo will make him their personal jobber. the nWo kicking booker from the group is only going to be better for his career. he didn't really fit into the nWo and the fans are almost begging to cheer him. Guest Report post Posted June 15, 2002 Not at all, i think peoples got confused when I said "fire them" i meant the wrestlers going up to Vince about it. I rather be out of the WWE than be jobbed out to the clique. I still wish Jericho would get the hang of the political game... EDIT: can't spell

Guest Anglesault Report post Posted June 15, 2002 Tony, no big deal, but it's clique, with a Q. Kliq is also acceptable
Guest caboose Report post Posted June 15, 2002 It's all very good thinking about who the Kliq is going to target next, but the real issue is just who is going to stand upto them in the back. Hypothetical Situation: Late 2002- The Brand Extension is ended and the two brands are reunited with Triple H being the champion after KOTR. Vince turns Triple H heel after he realises the face turn failed. Triple H is then thrust into the nWo. Triple H, Nash, Michaels and X-Pac are now all together. Vince however repeats his mistake and lets the Kliq gain power. Austin has officially been released and Rocky says he's not coming back soon cos he's got movies lined up for the next few years. Jericho does not extend his contract and is buried on the way out as he heads to Japan. Kurt Angle is given leave for Olympic training and Taker retires after a failed final run as champion. Hulk Hogan finally retires after a feud with Vince. This leaves Booker T, Eddie, Chris Benoit, Ric Flair, RVD, Brock Lesnar and Edge as the only wrestlers left who are close to the ME scene and are over enough with the fans. Who from the above situation, which I personally can see happening quite easily, is left to combat the Kliq? Booker T is likely to be buried by the nWo angle, if he survives he still won't be pushed to the Title, and he has NO power backstage. Eddie will forever be considered too small for the ME, and backstage he will always be watched closely cos of his past problems. Chris Benoit has been called a Vanilla Midget and also has NO Backstage power, he knows he would be welcome in Japan. Ric Flair is not going to be given the ball to run with, and is also close to retirement, doesn't like playing the politics game. RVD is the most over of all on the list, and therefore be the most likely target of the Kliq. Brock is too new to the business to be able to work the politics and Triple H won't job to him after Brock's been around less than a year. Edge will have lost a lot of momentum after the injury and if he doesn't retain it, he will be lost in the shuffle. After that, WHO is there that can stand in the way of the Kliq? It's not going to be Kane either.

Guest Report post Posted June 15, 2002 I see Triple H disolving the Kliq. He is so "power hungry" that Steph will book him to be the leader of the Kliq, which will lead to "The Kilq" feuding with "The Kliq:Wolfpac" backstage.

Remember, he is a vanilla midget according to Kevin Nash. After that, I think they'll go after Brock Lesnar.. The Clique has more power than ever now, since HHH is fucking the boss's daughter and head writer that overlooks all storylines. Why did Nash call him a Vanilla Midget? Because there were people in WCW who believed that Benoit should be pushed up to the next level. So Nash started that catchphrase to bury Benoit backstage before his push could even start. Just like he did with Jericho by convincing Goldberg that working with Jericho would be beneath him. I still think Jericho is the next one to go. They push him further down the card every week and they stick him in the midcard KOR tournament where he won't even make it to the finals. He's been buried so badly by Triple H that it will take lots of rebuilding for anyone to ever believe him as a serious threat to Triple H again. And since he made the crucial mistake of standing up to Triple H he'll continue to get buried as long as he sticks around. It doesn't help that his biggest ally backstage (Rock) has both feet out the door and will most likely only make a handful of WWE appearances a year from now on, while another ally (Austin) has apparently left the company for good. Meanwhile his political enemy is dating the boss's daughter/head writer, gets all his friends undeserved spots and is considered "family" by Vince. Jericho's so fucked over. He really doesn't have any kind of future in the WWE unless the political climate changes drastically in the near future.

Guest Shadow Report post Posted June 15, 2002 ......you guys are really, really, really pathetic. Look into getting lives, and quickly. This coming from someone who likes Triple H. Ooooh yes, because in your eyes, liking Triple H is a crime PUNISHABLE BY DEATH! I was referring to the bullshit topic. "Waaah, Austin is gone, waaaah, Clique is back together, waaaah". Why don't you just wait and see what happens instead of starting bullshit topics that is pure SPECULATION, not FACT. And Hunter and Micheals aren't even friends anymore, dumb-asses, and out of any of these potiental Clique members, Hunter is the only one with any sort of power. Shawn and Nash are both on prohbation and X-Pac only has a job because of Hunter. So until Hunter and Shawn make nice-nice, there is no Clique.

Guest Report post Posted June 15, 2002 IF so, RVD would be a quick, relatively easy target. The guy seems guileless, and only Heyman would be around to support him. He doesn't have any other heavyhitter friends that I'm aware of. Let's see what happens against X-Pac Monday (although I would be bowled over in shock by any kind of a Waltman victory). In the longer run, a more challenging target would be Kurt, as he's more of an all around threat than RVD, i.e. already a 2-time Champion, Olympic medallist, fantastic wrestler, great on the mic, has looks, marketability, relative youth, etc. Who would offend and threaten the insecure and egotistical Kliq members the most? Kurt's the man.
Guest Nater Report post Posted June 15, 2002 IMO, Nash, Michaels, HHH and X didnt do anything significant to Rock or Austin. Sure some shots were made, but it was more at the expense of the writing team's credibility. After all I'm sure what was scripted was a lot less entertaining than what they said and did. Rock can always come back and do what the team tells him, since they are so high on him and not the nwo. HHH is peaking in popularity so he can only come down.. (and yes he isnt as up as others have been)

They are BURIED. So silly. How did HHH do the burying anyway? He was being booked like a total loser before HHH even showed up. And how can anyone say the Kliq ran Austin out? Nothing I've seen from a credible source has said anything like this. Yes, Austin was pissed at fighting Hall, but now he's pissed at fighting Brock. So is Lesnar a member of the Kliq or is he an evil backstage politician like HHH?
