EWR has been released this morning!

The EWR 1.3 update is great. Before I was auto booking all my matches....untill I got the update.

The best part of it is the way the Road Agents tell you how many points your wrestler went over or lost heat. He added a lot of things with stables now. I made a couple of stables...one of em have around 5 people, I debuted the stable and Midajah was the leader. She had the lowest over points of all of them, but during the segment she went up 4 over points.

Only gripe I have is that version is ultra buggy. I had no problems with any of the versions except this.

I had DL'd the update, but it really wasn't worth getting rid of my 1.2 version. My "real" WWE is in June 2004, so I don't wanna get rid of that. I also have 1 with Jamie Noble as the WWE Undisputed Champ. Hey, he's better than Brock!

Finally, the moment you've all been waiting for...OAOAST Excessive Force! It's really cool because the last 2 matches=BEST EVER~!

OAOAST Excessive Force

Brought to you by OAT TOAST!

During the pre-game show, Anglesault arrived at the arena, prepared for his big World Title match against Alfdogg. 100.

aWo (Some Guy & BML) vs GM \ GN (For The OAOAST Tag Team Titles) : In this exciting opener that kept the crowd hot throughout, the former champs, Green Mist and Generation Never, kept the advantage, isolating Some Guy. After a hot tag to Big McLarge Huge, however, the tide turned. BML went for the RudoBomb on Green Mist, but it was the perfect opportunity for a shot of Red Mist in the face of BML! As Green Mist was celebrating, he didn’t see Some Guy, who gave him a stiff Some Kick! BML rolled over into the cover for the three count! The champs retain in 9:52! Good **** rating. 85.

Zack Malibu was backstage, building up his match with CWM tonight. 95.

Sandman9000 vs EvenflowDDT, Death Match: This match was another insane bloodbath between these two. It featured dueling lightbulbs, Sandman choking Evenflow with barbed wire, baseball bats, 2x4s, and even C-4 explosives. Sandman got backdropped onto one of the explosives, and even got tangled in barbed wire, but managed to kick out! After kicking out of the Dilemma DDT, he back-suplexed Evenflow onto another C-4 explosive, but it only got two! Evenflow’s gain of momentum didn’t last long, however, as Sandman put Evenflow away, finally, with the PSYCHO DRIVAH~! At a grueling 19:32. Great match, a ****1\4 rating i think. 87.

Angle-plex vs Masked Mystery Eskimo (For The OAOAST USTV Title) : The aWo was looking to go 2-2 tonight. This was an awesome technical encounter. Angle-plex kicked out of three rolling Killer Whale-plexes, and got his foot on the ropes after a Blizzard Bomb! MME survived a minute in his own Frostbite Facelock, but made it to the ropes. He also survived a lengthy Ankle Lock, and kicked out of an Angle Slam! MME tried to hit AP with his own AnglePlex, but AP reversed it into the Ankle Lock for the submission to win the USTV Title in 11:59! I'm slapping a ****1\4 rating on this. 86.

Big Poppa Popick vs The Superstar (For The OAOAST X Title) : This was a grueling 2/3 falls match, featuring an awesome blend of brawling, high flying, and technical expertise. Superstar immediately targeted the injured arm of BPP, almost forcing him to tap out to a rolling armbar. However, Superstar clinched the first fall in 6:21 by reversing a BPP sunset flip, using the ropes for leverage! BPP came back in the second fall, winning with an awesome Overdriver in 14:32. In an extremely competitive third fall, BPP kicked out of both the Star Power II and I! Superstar got sick of this, and nailed BPP with a massive belt shot to win the match in 25:41! Good **** rating. 81.

Steve Austin vs Caboose : These two have been feuding since day one. This was an outstanding brawl, as these two fought all over the arena. Austin showed his toughness by kicking out of an End of the Line DDT! To his credit, Caboose kicked out of a Stone Cold Stunner and survived a lengthy Sharpshooter! However, Caboose countered a Stone Cold Stunner with a low blow, and nailed the Emerald Fusion dead on to win the match at 16:03! Almost a ***** match...but it was missing something, so it only gets a ****1\2. 92.

Zack Malibu vs CobainWasMurdered: The In Crowd Leader squared off against the crooked commissioner in this crazy match. This was tremendous, as both men fought for, seemingly, their lives. CWM kicked out of a School’s Out Superkick and seemingly had the match won with a Tire Iron shot, but Zack got his foot on the rope. CWM hit a Pollycutter out of nowhere, but Zack wouldn’t give up! Zack went for another School’s Out, but CWM caught the foot, spun him around, but Zack ducked a CWM clothesline and hit The Trendsetter for the pin at 18:22! A ***** rating for a superb bout! 96.

Alfdogg vs Anglesault (For The OAOAST World Title) : The main event was here as Anglesault looked to regain his coveted OAOAST Championship. Reject and Thunderkid accompanied AD, but were thrown out after interfering! This was an excellent end to Excessive Force, and it was a strong technical affair. Anglesault kicked out of a Five Star Alf Splash, which only pissed the champion off. However, after Sault hit a Salt Shaker, he climbed the ropes, and attempted a picture-perfect SaltSault, but AD moved out of the way! He followed it up with an Oklahoma Roll, putting his feet on the second rope: 1, 2, 3! Alfdogg retained the title in 20:56! A ***** rating for a superb bout! 96.

Overall: 91. Buyrate: 1.99.

You didn't copy the save file from 1.2 to 1.3?

Nah, I'm pretty much illiterate when it comes to Windows, copying files and the like, so I just gave up out of fear that I would accidently delete something.

It's pretty simple..and their's no risk in deleting anything.

Just go to the EWR 1.2 folder. Go to s1 (considering you saved the game in the first save slot) copy the files. Go to the EWR 1.3 folder, and paste it into the s1 folder.

Only problem I have is that EWR 1.2 and way more stable than 1.3.

It crashes at least once a week.

Architeck, thank you. I will have to re-download the 1.3 later, or tomorrow, but thank you for your help.

Well, scratch that. My roommate decided that he needed xtra space on the hard drive, so he deleted my Diablo and EWR games. Looks like I'm starting over.

Guys, I'm pretty much computer illiterate. I DL'ed EWR1.3, but it's a zip file. I have Unzip, I put it through there, and nothing happened. Can someone tell me [a] How to unzip a file using Unzip Send me Winzip [c] Send me EWR1.2 or 1.3? Thanks in advance.

OK, I'm pretty much computer illiterate. I just DL'ed EWR1.3, but I don't know how to unzip it. The only unzip program I have is Unzip. Tried that, and nothing happened. Can someone send me (a) Winzip (B) EWR1.2 or EWR 1.3? Thanks in advance.

It probably put an .exe file (ewr1.3.exe?) somewhere that you'll have to double-click to actually install the game.

Yeah. I went to the EWR messageboard and they had announced 1.4 would include:

WHAT'S CONFIRMED AS BEING IN EWR1.4

-- Fix to the recurring wrestler problem

-- Fix to the feud problem

-- Fix to the "Stiffness" error (names got swapped when complaining)

-- Belt values

-- New tag team finish - run in for the DQ

-- All promotions now start with staff - got bored of hiring every new game!

WHAT ELSE IS PLANNED

-- Tag team turn angle

-- New tag team aftermath - run in for save

-- New tag team aftermath - run in for the failed save

-- New angle - turn manager & wrestler at same time

-- New angle - turn manager & tag team at same time

-- New angle - reveal stalker

-- New finish - The Dusty Finish ™ (if you don't know, don't ask)

-- Modified way of using advertising and merchandising

-- Press Conferences (back from EW9000)

-- Sophie to tell you who your top 5 faces and heels are

-- Staff to tell you what they think of the current champions

-- New angles - tag team \ stable arrival and driving off

-- "Lost -1 points of overness" to be changed as it is too confusing

-- Warning before money gets too low to tell you you're risking being fired

That's from creator Adam Ryland.

Okay, apparently my problem wasn't worded right. I have the update just sitting there, it's not transforming into any EWR game by magic, and it won't add to my 1.2. Any help? Basically I want to be able to make EWR 1.3 work after it's been downloaded.

Why do they keep updating?? I haven't even gotten my fill out of 1.3 yet.

The press conference used to KICK ASS though, so I'm looking forward to that.

Wrestler A wins under dubious circumstances, another referee/commisioner/figure of power reverses decision, Wrestler B wins.

It was the finish to the last RVD/Undertaker match, back in May.

Where can I get different scenarios (Japan, retro, etc.) for 1.3? The only place I've been to is EWAdditions.com, and they are only compatible with 1.1 or 1.2 if you have the data converter. Is there anything ouser-ere for the most recent update?
