Guest J*ingus Report post Posted August 2, 2002 I'd be less worried about Bray's corrected stats and more concerned with things like, did they change the game to reflect that Erin Bray is a woman in real life?
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted August 2, 2002 I started using a new TNA and immediatly put the Truth as champion. Now I hope that life imitates game this week.
Guest Zack Malibu Report post Posted August 2, 2002 I too started an NWA bps. Shamrock is complaining that he's being pushed too much, so I'll be having him drop the belt shortly. Meanwhile, I've got a decent feud started with Truth vs. Scott Hall, and I'm also starting one between Monty Brown and Bautista in hopes of getting them both over. I signed Sanders (naturally), Chuck Palumbo (WWE fired him), EZ Money, Ron Waterman and Bautista, and put them in as a stable with Paul Heyman managing them all. Signed Terry Funk to have a hardcore feud with Corino. Jerry Lynn notified me after the FIRST SHOW that he's retiring in a month, so I'm using him to build up Super Crazy, Psicosis, Taka, Funaki and other X Division contenders. Got rid of a LOT of dead weight (Dupps, Mueler, Staples, Harrises, Johnsons) and signed a lot of better talent (American Dragon, Sean O'Haire, Nick Dinsmore). Planning on doing an angle with Sanders and co. helping O'Haire out and interfering during matches, with the idea that they want him to join them in a Natural Born Thrillers reformation. Naturally, O'Haire stays face and kicks ass seven ways from Sunday. bps, did you keep strictly the NWA talent you had (making it more realistic) or did you go free agent crazy like myself? Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted August 2, 2002 "bps, did you keep strictly the NWA talent you had (making it more realistic) or did you go free agent crazy like myself? " I dumped some people that I can't stand (Steiner, Bagwell, Konnan) but pretty much everyone else stayed. I updated the roster to take Low Ki from ROH and now I have to figure out how to get the SAT out of ROH or restart the game. The only free agents I brought in were Mike Sanders and Paul Heyman. Guest Angle-plex Report post Posted August 2, 2002 If you guys want to edit your current games, just copy all the files from your saved game folder and put them in the data folder (make sure you have copies of the original files). Then just use the file editor, and put the files back into your saved game folder.

Guest MaxPower27 Report post Posted August 2, 2002 What purpose does public image serve? My WWE has P.I. of 98%, but I don't know what it means or anything. Just had my Unforgiven: 1.98 buyrate. Kurt Angle retains WWE Undisputed Title against Chris Jericho, by botched interference from The Rock. I'm gonna turn Rock heel on Jericho, and feud them. Benoit retains IC Title from RVD in a submission match, and refuses a handshake afterwards. Eddy Guerrero defeats Edge. The Un-Americans retain the tag titles against the Hardyz John Cena beat Brock Lesnar Chris Kanyon beat Rhyno Booker T beat HHH (Heat Main event) Raven won a 10 man battle royal for the Hardcore title. Card Quality: 94. The Brain stepped down from WDW, I guess because I was kicking his ass! Woo!
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted August 3, 2002 Well Public Image is more important when you're playing smaller feds and are building them up. When doing that the Pblic Image is how you move up the different levels of a fed until you get to Global. Not sure what Public Image means for WWeee since it's at the top. But i'm figuring it helps ticket sales and tv ratings.
Guest Mattdotcom Report post Posted August 3, 2002 I FINALLY GOT THE GAME, and it screwed up my suck-ass computer! NOOOOO! I had some good stuff going, and I had a ****1/4 tag match with Benoit/Jericho beating the Rock and somebody...
Guest The Superstar Report post Posted August 3, 2002 I've been playing as WWE and trying to use everyone on the roster without firing anyone (well, except Nash and Gayda ). So far so good, I guess. I'm sorta going with some real life feuds (Jericho/Flair and HHH/Michaels) but the other stuff is my doing. Booker T got injured for 2 months with a freakin back injury, and Trish is sidelined with a torn calf for 10 months (!). I use Sunday Night Heat to build up the people that are currently doing nothing. I signed Super Crazy and TAKA to bulk up the CW division. After a week and a half my PI is 76. Guest Human Fly Report post Posted August 4, 2002 Anybody had good luck with Training Camp? I just opened mine a few months ago and it looks like the guys will be in there for around 2 or 3 years. Does the game tell you when your guys are ready to graduate like the tell you when someone is ready to be called up to the main roster?
Guest the 1inch punch Report post Posted August 4, 2002 about the new release i was under the impression that you could do stuff with stables? Mike Sanders, EZ Money and Steve Corino-Natural Born Thrillers 2k2
Guest Retro Rob Report post Posted August 5, 2002 No, I didn't get the patch, but I also noticed that the game only freezes while I'm online or after I sign off. Once I restart though it works fine.
Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Report post Posted August 5, 2002 OK what I can't figure out is how do you steal guys away from other feds. Can anyone help here?
Guest Spaceman Spiff Report post Posted August 5, 2002 OK what I can't figure out is how do you steal guys away from other feds. Can anyone help here? First of all, your target needs to be working under a verbal contract. Do a search, and click the "Negotiate" button for whomever you want to steal. Sometimes, they'll refuse to negotiate (loyal bastards). Chances are, if they are willing to negotiate, you'll need to offer more than they are currently making. Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Report post Posted August 5, 2002 Thanks, heh these guys can be real bitches. You would think they'd at least listen to your offer, and let you give them some really inflated numbers.
Guest Midnight Express83 Report post Posted August 6, 2002 rule of thumb, you can offer them 10% less than what they are asking. So someone like Austin can be taken for a little over 200k a month, not the near 300K he is asking for. If you are firing someone, drop them down the card and make their moral to 0%. This way it doesn't cost to dump them.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Report post Posted August 7, 2002 Or drop them to OVW (if using WWE), then close the territory. That way you don't have to pay out on the remaining contract. Plus you get $1M for selling the facilities. Edit: My mistake - selling the training camp facilities gets you $1M, not the developmental territory. I closed both, so that's why I made the mistake. Guest The Son of Sting Report post Posted August 8, 2002 Anyone had a ***** match? Highest i have had was a TAKA vs AJ Styles match for the X belt, that got ****1/4.

Guest Spaceman Spiff Report post Posted August 9, 2002 Still believing that the Reverend gimmick can get over for D-Von, I'v set up the following as a stable: The Ministry Reverend D-Von Deacon Bautista Brother Brock Lesner Cardinal Sean O'Haire Managed by Pope Paul Heyman
Guest MaxPower27 Report post Posted August 9, 2002 Spiff, that is QUALITY! I have my guys to get ****+ matches, as my Smackdown and Raw's never get below an 80 card quality. Benoit, Eddy, Jericho, H3, Hurricane, Chavo, Kurt, Rock, Brock, Goldust, Al Snow, Booker, and RVD all have at least **** matches everytime. My WWeeeeeeeeee is prospering well, but Bill Watts took over WDW, and they're getting 7.5+ ratings and it has me worried.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted August 9, 2002 I've had 2 ***** matches and they were the same match Angle and LAnce Storm vs. RVD and Jushin Liger in a ladder match.
Guest Angle-plex Report post Posted August 10, 2002 YES! I got a ***** match. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rey Misterio Jr. vs Triple H (For The WCW World Title) : Rey gets slammed. HHH hits a right hand. Rude Awakening on Rey Misterio Jr. by HHH. HHH slams Rey Misterio Jr. down. Triple H misses a big legdrop after stalling too long. HHH takes a flying neckbreaker from Rey Misterio Jr.. Rey crushes HHH with a sweet running senton. Hooks the leg for a two count. HHH counters an arm wringer with an elbow to the side of the head. Triple H hits a bulldog off the ropes. There's a two count on the pin. Spear! Rey is down and hurt. Pin : 1 - 2 - 2.9999999. Rey Misterio Jr. pulls a mule kick out of nowhere. Stiff high kick on HHH by Rey Misterio Jr. who has evidently been watching some old AJPW tapes recently. Triple H elbows Rey Misterio Jr. in the face to break a hammerlock. Back elbow connects, Rey staggers backward. Rey Misterio Jr. is in trouble. Here it comes - Pedigree. 1....2...3, it's finished. I'm handing out a ***** rating for this match, it was excellent! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It was hard for me to make Rey lose, but Triple H is actually really good in this game. His overness shoots up really fast.
