Kurt Angle Mark 0 Report post Posted May 21, 2007 I installed Bit Torrent from the main site However even when I wasn't using it, it slowed my internet connection as it would take longer to load pages. I uninstalled it and my problem was solved. So my questions are, Does this happen with every Bit Torrent client? or is there a solution? Thanks in advance
AntiLeaf33 0 Report post Posted May 21, 2007 When your using a Bit Torrent client and your downloading a torrent a pretty good speed, it will slow down your surfing speed. You onlu have so much bandwidth, and since its being used by the torrent client, then something has to suffer.

You onlu have so much bandwidth, and since its being used by the torrent client, then something has to suffer. I know, however when I wasn't using the client and not downloading anything it would still slow down my surfing speed so I'm wondering if that is common with every Bit Torrent client

I use bit tornado I was able to figure it out Besides the Client there is something called the "DNA Control Center" which appears to allows you to download/upload (at a very low speed) even when client is off. I turned it off and my internet runs fine now.
