Dobbs 3K Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 Didn't see this reported on the board yet. JHawk talked about it on his show. From Meltzer's site: "Shane Bower, who wrestled as Biff Wellington for Stampede Wrestling in the late 80s, passed away within the past few days. According to area wrestler Steve Rivers, Bower's parents found him this morning at home in bed, as they were concerned because they hadn't heard from him. Medical officials when examining the body believe he had been dead for a few days. Bower was a top worker in the days of Owen Hart, Brian Pillman, Chris Benoit, Hiroshi Hase and so many others. He was also Benoit's tag team partner in what is believed to have been Benoit's first major U.S. mainstream match match as part of a WCW international tag team tournament."
CanadianChris Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 AKA Beef Wellington, one of my favourite wrestling names ever. I'd heard he'd had health problems recently, so this isn't a shock, but still sad. RIP.
Nate Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 RIP Biff even though i wasnt familar to you, anyone got clips of this guy
Quit Calling My Mama Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 I guess this was Benoit's 'family emergency' that made him miss Vengeance.
