Add in the 93 million on the foreign side and Transformers opened with a 246 million dollar week. I guess making 90 million in profit your opening weekend is good.

I tend to wonder what the box office number would have been if it didn't open on Tuesday to 27 million and pick up another 29 million on Wednesday.

How can this be accurate when Sunday, July 8th has like 7 hours of moviegoing left? It's only 3 PM.

Monday's when the real numbers will be out.

I hope Transformers make a zillion dollars. Best all-around action flick since T2.

Monday's when the real numbers will be out.

They are called estimates and they are pretty close to the actual numbers.

Guest Smues

The numbers always come out Sunday and they're usually pretty close to actual.

I finally saw Ratatoille last night. Amazing movie, and it's too bad it doesn't look like it will make as much money as it deserves, although it should still hopefully clear 200 million.
