Asian title, from 2002ish

So my girlfriends yammering on and on about this film she saw on Showtime back in/around 2002. Has an asian woman, seeing and dating this guy whos beneath her social class, and her family doesn't approve of such a relationship. The girl gets pregnant by him, kills him, marries her familys approved choice, and has the hubby think the baby is his.

 

It has some subtitles, it isn't a period piece, its supposed to be set in modern age, and there's no action to it, just a straight love/drama story.

 

Anyone who can help me, I appreciate it. I don't have any actors names, i've tried several movies databases and amazon and imdb and am just running into blank walls.
