Guest Soriano's Torn Quad Report post Posted September 6, 2007 Frats strike me as being really really semi-homoerotic, and when guys that I knew tell me the crazy stories that [insert crazy frat name here] did, it usually is something that would be the setup for a gay porn scene. I pretty much think it ended with them all blowing each other but they just edit that part out the story. Here is the thing, you don't need a frat to do community service. If you want to service the community, then fucking service it. And that misused verb makes it sound like the setup to a Jasmin St. Clair feature.
Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2007 I imagine you'd be better served by doing your own thing, but taking time regularly to organize things like road side trash cleanup, or get togethers to discuss pressing (and truly important) issues that you see coming up around you, and what to do about them. Even just having people over and sharing in great musical works. Pretty simple stuff really. I would be willing to bet that you'll get a more fulfilling social life as an added benefit aswell. You get to be your own person without any kind of pressure to fit in to a totally new social group, which can help someone who already may have a lot of stress from being in school.
