Guest Just call me Dan Report post Posted June 19, 2002 Brock may nevr again have that capturing presence he once had, that's for sure. I can remember his first confrontation with the Hardyz, and the chairshots. Those didn't even knock him down, but boy a flying leg lariat from Stasiak sent him reeling! I also remember Heyman going through Lita's things, Matt running up the ramp, only to be met by that monster. The emotion and suspense was awesome. But now, since he is a heel, and heels are pussies, everyone has an equal shot at him. He does big strong moves, but he's very beatable. Goldberg COULD wrestle. The man was stiff and needed another year or two to really take hold of his craft, but when someone was in a match with him where they would sell, and he would too, it was good. He threw people around, had nice submissions, and would expand his moveset (ala Angle) all the time. Factor in that he mostly worked with guys like Hogan, Nash, Hall, Sid, and Steiner, it would be rather hard for a non high flying and technical genius to get much there. Lesnar will be a nice addition to the upper level, but the emotion was sucked from this guys character because of that damned flight. Oh, and for the record, I believe Goldberg was 6'1" and 291 lbs. Shorter than Brock, yet still bigger. Pretty iimpressive. Brock needs a beard and another haircut rather than the preppy little crewcut he sports now. Guest Army Eye Report post Posted June 19, 2002 They hurt Brock with that Stasiak fiasco but they REALLY killed him by having him get nearly beaten twice by BUBBA FUCKING RAY. In one of them Bubba Ray even had him pinned for a 3 count but the ref wasn't there! What in the hell were they thinking? It's further proof that, incredibly, the WWE has completely forgotten how to give a guy a proper push.

Guest Cataclysm911 Report post Posted June 20, 2002 I'll tell ya something, if he IS the bastard child of Goldberg, then he has more potential wrestling than Goldberg. Because *gasp* he can ACTUALLY WRESTLE A LITTLE BIT! So could Golberg. Watch Holloween Havok '98, and then if you can find me a Brock Lesnar match half as good, then we'll talk. Right now, Brock is Scott Nortan without the man boobs. Yes he is. Scott Norton is a beast. That is all.

Well on SK scale the Goldburg match was, If I remember right, ***1/2 and Brock was in a **1/2 star match on June 3 by the same SK scale. http://411wrestling.com/tvreports/article....vreports_id=
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted June 20, 2002 Brock's push has been good and it should have put him in a much high place than he is now. The thing that is disappointing is that Brock seems to know all of three moves and he seems to be getting carried in the ring.
