Guest Brian Posted June 20, 2002 Report Posted June 20, 2002 Most Regal matches have been sound except way too slow. RVD got the best out of him because Regal had to pick up the pace. Edge could have done just as well if he wouldn't have been so willing to let Regal work it out. Runnels and X-Pac both can be good. Seriously, how many matches has Golddust had in these five months? X-Pac's match wasn't much, the brawling was out of place and for the sake of spots but it was solid otherwise. He also hasn't really done anything spectacular despite working a series of matches with the best wrestler in the company, and alot of that has to do with how he generally works. If he put half as much selling into other body parts as he does his ribs after a five-star, he be much better. That's where his style limits him. It has good things and bad things, and it takes drastic changes to improve on some of the worse ends.
Guest Cataclysm911 Posted June 20, 2002 Report Posted June 20, 2002 I liked the match a lot. It was by far the match of the night, and as I stated in the RAW thread, I thought that this was the RAW of the year. X-Pac/RVD is one of the reasons why.
Guest I Fear Hogans Air Guitair Posted June 20, 2002 Report Posted June 20, 2002 There match was match of the night by far some cool spots RVD's Moonsault to the outside and X-pac's front flip over the ropes to but they all hale in comparision to Van Dam's Frog Splash. Nobody gets higher than RVD.
