alfdogg 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2007 Funny bit at the start of the show, with Landon not knowing the title history of Popick (which is funny, because his title reign was so forgettable, amirite). Popick is out of retirement! Should be a fun match. Nice little squash by the Docs, readying them for the Enterprise at Zero Hour. Haha, Leon's caught in the act! And Shayne is totally oblivious. Funny stuff once again. It's the new and improved US title! Lot of prestige for whoever wins that match. Last man to hold the X and 24/7 titles, and first to hold the US title. Should be interesting. Fun little match between Rescue 911 and the Wrecking Crew. And a huge blow to the Crew heading into Sunday. I loved the spot with Bosley backing the referee off with his badge. Why didn't the Big Boss Man ever think of that one? Nathaniel Black is ready for the big kick-off this Sunday, and so am I. Can't wait to see what comes of that. Good main event. Again, cheap tactics galore from the two heels. LC beatdown seems to end it, but Zack saves? Should be a hot ladder match this Sunday. MOTN: Close, but I gotta go with Rescue 911 vs The Mardi Gras Homewrecking Crew LOTN: COACH You're looking at an OAOAST Original. COLE I thought he was an Upstart? COACH A what!? COLE Exactly. Tony149 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2007 (edited) Not as strong as last week’s show IMO, but a good one nonetheless. Seems like ages since SJ last wrestled, and it probably has been. The Leon/Maggie/Jade/D*LUX segment was fun stuff, especially the text messaging part. Good to see the US title coming back, as it means we’re finally simplifying the title situation which has been out of control for years (thankfully the writers were able to come up with great material). Leave it to Patty to take another tag team under his wing (and get a win no less!), even if Detective Bosley has become Rico’s long lost brother. MOTN: TK/Brock vs. Alf/Felix Quote of the Show: “Ah, see, here's the thing, see... uh... budget cuts! Yeah, they just extended everybody's contracts. Eighty-four active wrestlers, wouldn't you know it! Lots of downpayments. So, out go the microphones. Always the first thing to go.
