Guys like Flair have made a living off cheap finishes and barely escaping with the title. There's a fine line between making the fans feel ripped off but giving them just enough so they want to see more, and driving fans away completely. Austin/Angle is a good example of making fans feel disappointed. It's not like the Hogan/Nash fingerpoke which turned fans away from the company.
