Guest chirs3 Report post Posted June 21, 2002 Upon reading the guide, which I shoulda done in the first place, high attitude is better. I thought it meant you had more of an attitude. Knowing this, Raynor's is gonna be around 75, 80-ish.

Guest Chuck Woolery Report post Posted June 22, 2002 All right, seeing as I created the SWF/JL in all it's glory, I figured I may as well put up who's which champion. A note, I had to sign some free agents to ensure my rating wouldn't go down. So, without further ado... SWF World Champion: Edwin Macphisto SWF ICTV Champion: Mike Van Siclen (and before any of you say I did this because I'm myself... I did, and I would've made myself World champ if I could figure out a way to get the thing offa Edwin without forming a stable.) SWF United States Champion: Chris Raynor SWF Tag-Team Champions: Grand Slam Mark Stevens and El Luchadore Magnifico SWF Hardcore Champion: Stryke SWF Light-Heavyweight Champion: It was Erek, but he got involved with drugs, so I put it on some unknown named Kidd Dre. Also, I turned Ash heel, and so now him, Jericho, and Stubby are my main heels, against GSMS, Edwin, Van Dam, ELM... Whoo! - Mike Van Siclen. Naturally, the most dominant ICTV champion the world has ever known

Guest Edwin MacPhisto Report post Posted June 22, 2002 Annie E and Thoth are both in the midcard of my game where I'm in NWA... ...that is, the upper midcard of the WWE. Lucky suckers. I'm going to start my own SWF game soon, but for now, I'm trying to bring TCW up out of the regionals and into glory. World champion Mike Sanders in the hoooooouse! Guest Longdogger_Pete Report post Posted June 22, 2002 Anyone put LDP in there yet? Anyway, I've been playing as WWE, but I'll be switching to SWF soon enough. Notable happenings from my first month of game time: #1. Debra was fired for causing a fight backstage. #2. Rhyno came back as a face to feud with the as-yet-undefeated European champion, Brock Lesnar. #3. I corrected some WWE mistakes (well, in my mind, anyway) by re-hiring K-Kwik and Tori. I also picked up Jake from Tough Enough 2. Yay. That's about it so far.
Guest chirs3 Report post Posted June 22, 2002 I got a glitch and... To make a long story short, Tony Schivaone was the only guy available to Announce for Storm and Smarkdown!. I fired his ass, then RE-Recreated Curry and NTD, as well as the WWE announcers who were also replaced by Sir Tony. Adam Ryland said the bug would be fixed in the next patch, so I need to (unfortunately) remake Schivaone. Anyone wanna post his stats? I've created everyone on this thread and I guessed a few on the stats thread. Haven't started actually playing yet.

Guest Edwin MacPhisto Report post Posted June 22, 2002 I'm doing great with my TCW fed. Except I just realized that I have only $400,000 left. Crap. An ESPN TV deal does not a rich man make. Also, man, you guys are nutso. You're too good to yourselves on the stats! Heh heh. Half of the stats on this thread should be holding the world title right now by the game's logic. Must...play...game...
Guest Suicide King Report post Posted June 22, 2002 Yeah, I have to admit that I was kind of hoping fro some more realistic stats here... tell you what guys. If your'e legitimately in teh main event in the SWF, you can have stats like Angle and Benoit. If you're the TV champ in the SJL (Sorry Francis) you aren't quite as over as Edwin. Let's keep some reality here, for the EWR if not the SWF, eh?
Guest chirs3 Report post Posted June 22, 2002 Like I said, if you see anything wrong with mine, feel free to tweak. I for one would like a little more customization in the stats department - maybe descritions, like King made for our template.
Guest Longdogger_Pete Report post Posted July 2, 2002 I just wanted to let everyone know that the first update for EWR has been released on their main site. Looks like Adam will be updating the game on a regular basis, perhaps monthly. Looks cool, couple of new features put in, and you can transfer existing saved games over to the new version 1.1 without any problems.
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Report post Posted July 2, 2002 Yessiree, it looks nice. The interface is streamlined, you can now search for wrestlers by charisma, and there are lots of little features, like being able to see only sponsors who are interested in you and a little Talent Acquisition spot where your secretary tells you about assorted workers on the market. Most importantly, after playing a couple shows in this version, it looks like the random overness change bugs have been fixed. I had characters moving by only 1-2 points even after clean losses or average backstage angles, which is a lot less irritating than someone dropping 10 points just because I had them lose one match. The roster's been updated too to reflect recent changes, so now you'll find Steve Austin as a free agent, and the likes of John Cena, Johnny the Bull, and Sean O'Haire on the regular WWF roster. Me likee.
Guest chirs3 Report post Posted July 2, 2002 They have scenario's at the EWR Resource Center, which makes WWE MUCH more manageable. They've got a Raw vs Smackdown, where you take one brand. It splits the roster in half, so it's a lot easier to give everyone TV time and fued time. I still suck at this game, but damn it's fun.

Guest Longdogger_Pete Report post Posted July 2, 2002 Edwin pretty much summed it up. It's good to see that they're keeping up with real life events and likely will be continuing the updates... they're also considering suggestions for improvements to the game and putting them in wherever possible. Guest Lightning Flik Report post Posted July 6, 2002 Oh for crying out loud. Sounds like you guys need some Lightning Flik added to the JL roster of SWF! And yes, I know that for a Low Card he's very mid-class. I was told I had talent, so I made it look like I had potential. Any problems and just deduct: 1)20 from Brawling, 2) 25 from Stiffness, 3) Selling, Over, Charisma by 10 and you've got me. I've still got my high class speed at 84 cause I needed what I was like in ring I have Behaviour and Attitude really high, cause that's what I'm like. At least I hope I was when I was still wrestling. Besides, I think those last two categories are more the character himself as what he is. A low behaviour and attitude would probably mean they'll be causing disturbances and causing too much of a ruckess. And I wasn't like that. At least, I hope I wasn't.
