Finally, a thread dedicated to the UnderTaker retaining at KOtR. Why? Because all us smarks HATE HHH, and dammit, at least UT will sell for people, sometimes, and at least has more than 1 move...

Dammit, someone needs to Injure HHH, and I'm hoping that UT messes up his Last Ride so that HHH gets seriously hurt like test? almost did...

Please God, let HHH get hurt and leave...and have Steph go with him

Triple H laid down half the roster tonight, which mean he should lose at KOTR. However, this is Triple H........

Although i want taker to retain, speak for yourself. I like HHH and i dont want to see him injured. That's just uncalled for.

Undertaker can always drop HHH on his head during the Last Ride. although that would mean HHH would ban the Powerbomb like he banned the Tombstone.

KOTR is really a lose-lose situation in the main event. If the American Fatass wins, I'll kill myself. If HHHHHHHH wins, he'll bore me to death. So either way, I am going to die either Sunday night or shortly after. Here's hoping for a Wrestlemania IX finish(without Hogan, of course).

nah, we need taker to win. he has some potentially good fueds which would come out of a retention. trips on the other hand, well 'nuff said.

on a side note, that table last week is the first thing to no-sell triple h in a while. could it be the new backstage master???

RVD/Taker at summerslam...cage match or something. I could dig that. They've been building Taker as a monster for over a decade now, let him run with the belt a couple months.

I would have to completly disagree. Im a smark and I happend to enjoy HHH, i would take him as champion over Taker any day and twice on sunday. Everyone bags on HHH for holding people down. When was the last time the UT did a job at WM??? Or when was the last time that UT sold offense from a credible challenger??? But hey if you wanna bag on the guy go for it, but when cheering for taker its a bit hippocritical. And guess what, from the moment they took the belt of HHH when he jobbed to Hogan, the plan was for it to go back to him at KotR

taker was suppose to job at mania XVII to hhh, but hbk fucked that up

Since HHH has come back Jericho, Angle, and RVD have been held down.

I'd much rather have Taker retain the belt that HHH win it. I HHHate HHHunter. It's a shame looking at HHH 2 years ago and looking at him now. Remember when everyone was calling him "the new man?" Well, almost everyone. Taker/RVD sounds way better than any main event with HHH in it.

I'd rather have Taker retain. I'm not a big fan of either one, but with Taker winning we get some stability with the belt and some potential fueds. The last thing I want is for Trips to win the belt again and make even more people his bitch. I hate Triple H.

HHH is sHHHit.

IMO, the Undertaker is way more entertaining to watch than Triple H. He gives some of the funniest facial expressions during his matches. He's been selling a LOT better than he was last year.

I'm definitely hoping for a Taker win here... and if RVD gets the win at KOTR then it will lead to a much needed feud between Taker & RVD that everyone was clamouring for when RVD had that pseudo title win.

Undertaker better win, he's actually slowly but surely becoming one of my favorite wrestlers. He's deffinatly working harder now, and even putting new stars over.

Agreed. We don't want to see anybody injured.

I don't like Triple H right now. In fact, I hate watching him. I find him boring in the ring and on the mic, plus he's being booked so that it takes 20 guys to pin him. I think the pedigree is a lame finisher for a guy his size. I get the sense that same old crap will happen every time he appears, and forgive me if I don't get excited over some guy spitting water.

I DO believe though that he could be great if they just brought some balance to his character, and gave him a new angle/gimmick to work. But for that, he has to be healthy. Instead of wishing for an injury, let's wish management wakes up and fixes the situation.

Yah, I know, dare to dream...

Against Chris Benoit at Rebellion 2000. Benoit basically squashed Taker before a fluke cradle.

Okay great you were able to find a show that maybe 5% of American fans got to see, and that was close to 2 years ago. My point has been made.

He sold well for RVD on raw a few weeks ago.

I'd like to see Taker win because...well...I'd guess this will be his last run on top.

so he should hold it until SummerSlam....and lose it to Van Dam.

a 3 month title reign is pretty long nowadays.

so 3 months and then putting over the right young guy...that's a hell of a last run for Taker.

Not that I like Taker...but he's been around so long...I guess he deserves it.

Then again I couldn't tell you why he deserves it.

um...RVD RVD RVD...and stuff...

Guest Brian

I think Taker will be phased out after Mania because if he jobs at the end of the title reign, he still has value in that WrestleMania job.

I swear to God, if HHH wins, I'm gonna... man, I'm gonna do something.

He nosold Angle, Undertaker, Angle AND Undertaker...

I don't hope he gets injured. I just hope he loses, and then jobs clean to Jericho in a much-hyped match later on.

Undertaker must win and retain next month, for the SUMMER OF RVD~!

Who on here coined that? It's flying all over the board now.

Guest cabbageboy

RVD himself coined it right before that tag match with Bubba against Lesnar and Eddie. He said it was gonna be the Summer of RVD.

I like Undertaker's chances going into this match because he's actually working with midcarders and he's not just completely dominating everyone he comes into contact with (ahemTripleHahem). I think the Undertaker will retain with a possible Kurt Angle or The Rock interference. I don't think the Undertaker will win clean however.....

If Undertaker retains then the Undisputed Title seems less cursed as a One month title reign to whoever wears that particular belt. I heard dem Taker Haters Complain about him not Losing at WM...

WELL BOO HOO he's 10-0 BWAHAAHAHAHA

Undertaker allowed himself to get a beatdown from the Hardys 2 weeks ago when was the Last time HHH allowed lower wrestlers to beat him down. even his former DX mate Billy gets punked out along with his special little buddy Chuck.

what they are setting up is either a

Undertaker vs Rob Van Dam at SS

Or

A HHH vs Jericho at SS

and we just love seeing the same matches happen in a span of 2 or 3 months

I'll be forced to root for the Garbagepicker/Greaserbiker for the first time since 1998. I HHHate that fact almost as much as another Path of Roid Rage for You Know Who.

Taker's been selling a lot better this year than he has at any point since he came back. Hell, he gave Randy Freaking Orton a lot of offense in their match. Meanwhile, HHH has no-sold getting dropped forty feet in a car, and more recently, getting the hell beat out of him with a chair. Remember when UT laid waste to him, and the next week, he was back with no apparent ill effects?

Taker needs to keep the belt, just to give it some stability. And given the quality of HHH's matches since he came back, I think I'd much rather watch a UT match these days. HHH has been working at the same speed, and at least UT can vary his offense a little.

Guest takapac

Just curious; why do most of you guys trust Taker to drop the belt to RVD so much more than you do HHH? I agree that UT's now somewhat more open to that sort of thing; however, even Trips will drop the belt when ordered to by Vince, i.e. "Backlash."

Also, who's to say that the young guy that Taker eventually drops the belt to won't be, say, Edge? Edge is only a few weeks away from a return. Edge and Taker do have past history within the Ministry - way more history than Taker/RVD have. Edge could be portrayed as a "young lion" challenging an older star he used to take direction from. (Don't get me wrong; I'm only a minor fan of Edge, but he's going to be considered given his recent huge push).

Just kicking a thought around; I, too, hope that Taker retains and that when he does drop it, he drops it to RVD. But I'm not sure it's such an obvious situation (to WWE) that some here think it is. WWE seems to be torn on RVD, and I don't know if I see them sorting it out within a couple of months.

But ... go Taker.
