Angle is only behind The Rock in terms of mic skills in the WWE.

Jericho has cut one of two good promos since entering the WWE. If this was the Jericho in WCW, I would say he is one of the best on the mic, but he just isn't as good as he was back then.

Lance Storm? Nah...

Austin pre-WHAT?, then again, he's no longer in the WWE is he...

HHH does good promos, no matter what all you HHHaters say, Nidia is entertaining (more so than ANY other Diva, past or present).

Angle's up there though, hard to rate promos.

HHH doesn't have great promos. They're decent, but nothing special.

Although in 2000, HHH's promos were good.

Come on, HHH is SLOWLY coming back to that level. Give him another, say, year... :D Seriously, i think he can get back to that level, eventually.

I wish i could've seen some of those event from 2K and 2K1, any to recommend?

Hurricane, now there's a promo-artist.

Way to contradict yourself. Just stick with the HHH bashing gimmick, you'll be less confused.

Steve Austin, The Rock, Vince McMahon, Ric Flair, Chris Jericho, Triple H and Paul Heyman are all better on the mic than Angle. That's just off the top of my head. When they want to, Kevin Nash and Shawn Michaels can be decent too.

Test over at WM 17?? Was he really?? I can remember there being some heat for that match but not too much. That's the match where he got his foot stuck in the ropes.

Didn't he win that Euro title by squashing Regal in like 1 minute? Sure, make Regal look like a jobber for the WWE's monthly Test push. If they want to seriously think of a storyline (long term-HA!) for him, that's fine but enough with this "throw it at the wall to see what sticks" shit.

Regal was injured when they gave Test the Euro title, that's why it was so short. Plus, he didn't do ANYTHING until the build-up to WM 17 with Eddy.

He also got a damn good reaction at No Mercy in the Kane match and and at Survivor Series with Edge.

Also, can we put an end to this bullshit "monthly Test push" garbage? It's getting insanely redundant like Shiro said eariler. If he was getting a monthly push like so many of these die-hards have been whining, where was he during the past 3 PPVs? Oh, you say he's getting a push just because he's in the semis of the KOTR? Well shit, it looks like he's just being set up to be a job boy to Brockberg, so there goes THAT "he always gets pushed" argument...

What about the tag titles at No Way Out, you say? You mean where he and Booker jobbed cleanly to the Midget Towers of Terror?

Do me a favor for once, when the WWE actually FOLLOWS THROUGH on a supposed "push" and THEN it bombs, you can bitch all you want. Til then, quit trying to pass off lame bullshit like "Oooooh... Shane and Test are friends, so he ALWAYS gets pushed!" as a fact until you can back it up.

There, I've said my piece.

I didn't. Triple H had good promos is 2000. He doesn't anymore.

I'm sorry, but you don't suddenly lose the ability to be able to cut a good promo.

Maybe people have this opinion of HHH because his style of promo is better suited to a heel than a face, instead of the generic face promo 90% of guys are prone to cut in the last few years.

The Rock is the top mic guy, hands down. He can do heel, and face. He's simply the best.

Jericho would be my second, when he has decent material to work with. His face promos were good enough (generic, but all face promos get that way. Have to let the crowd 'sing along'). His heel promos against The Rock were something else, too.

Flair seems to be able to do both. I haven't heard much of his stuff, but he's got it down.

Angle would probably be fourth. He can cut a comedy heel promo, but his ability to cut a 'serious' heel promo hasn't been proved yet. His face promos so far have blown chunks. He also shows a reliance on bashing local towns/sports teams, which is a real midcarder bit.

Triple H's face promos suck, but his heel promos get the point across without using cheap heat.

People don't lose the ability to 'do promos'. As an example, Edge. His goofy bit as a heel was a riot. As a face, it's so-so. That dosen't mean he can't cut a good promo any more. It's harder than it looks adapting between the two sides. Rock and Jericho can, so that's why they were my top two. To be a real "god" on the mic in my eyes, you have to be able to do both.

Steve Austin - Is gone so he no longer counts. I personally think that Angle was better in the last several months. The "What?" stuff was alright, but every one of his promos was cookie cutter "What?" stuff. Last Summer Angle would hang with him all of the time.

The Rock - Is better. But, not by a huge amount.

Vince - Not better then Angle. His promos are hit or miss to me. Lately most of his mic time has been hitting on women that are younger then his daughter. Whenever someone's promos or skits make me want to change the channel I would qualify that as bad.

Ric Flair - Is great, but I don't think he's better then Angle. Just my opinion, but right now Flair's stuff isn't as good.

Jericho - As much as it pains me to say this, Jericho's promos don't have what they used to. He doesn't get the time anymore, it seems like have the time his promos are him yelling out stuff at ringside when he has his matches. If he had the time he used to his promos could be back on top like they used to be but right now, Angle is better.

Triple H - If-uh you say-uh so.

Paul Heyman - Good but not as good as Kurt.

You are correct. "Monthly Test push" is exaggerated. But don't tell me the "throw it against the wall to see what sticks" isn't going on with his character and has been, ever since the demise of T&A.

I wasn't. They've been doing that with the ENTIRE midcard for the past year, so it's not just Test.

But some of the mid cardersat least stay on RAW/Smackdown on a consisten basis, like Guerrero, RVD and Jericho. Test seems to get jerked off (yeah, haha) some those programs (just Smackdown these days), at least from a wrestling standpoint more frequently than others.

If anything, I'd say Test is just "there" much like Val, Christian, Storm, Eddy(up until recently), Bubba Ray, and the Hardlys.

Basically, the WWE has no idea how to utilize their talent anymore and just toss out revolving door pushes that get NOBODY over and make for some pretty painful TV when they try to seriously push someone for once and it fails because the guy getting the push either A) gets yanked off of the shows all of the sudden and isn't seen for weeks/months or B) they get jobbed out for some reason, the gimmick dies, then they go back to square one with another midcarder(like what happened with Test and Holly).

It's insanely irritating and just makes all of the talent involved look like idiots.

I was actually feeling the Teflon Test character. Doing as he pleased and propositioning women. Sounds like me, except I'm more like a Loofa than Teflon.

Vinnie Mac used to be good on the mic, then he realized that he was good, and started doing some cartoon parody of his persona. I used to love Vinnie Mac, but now he just gets on my nerves with that fucking growl. Triple H is okay, but only as a heel when he's smug and he knows that with his tricks, he'll come out on top sorta thing. He had that persona down pat. Jericho is good but let's face it, with his recent push problems, he comes off as way too much of a whiner. I love Angle's style, and he takes cheap heat to a new level.
