Wtf?

Recommended Posts

Guest Cubbie78

In a surprising move, WWE has already removed Vince Russo from the day-to-day writing team. He has been reassigned to the title of official on-payroll advisor. Russo will not be part of the main writing crew. RAW will still be headed by Brian Gerwertz and Smackdown still by Paul Heyman.

Russo met with the creative team for the first time yesterday. After the meeting, Vince McMahon had second thoughts about giving him major power in the creative direction and therefore went ahead and demoted him.

Odds are Vince Russo will still get his self on TV and eventually get control back because everyone knows VinnyRu=Ratings, even though the proof isn't necessarily in the pudding so to speak.

Hmmm, I wonder what was said at this meeting that made Vinnie change his mind so quickly?

VR: So we'll elevate Benoit, RVD, and Booker....

HHH ::Whispering in Vince's ear:: This guy just isn't going to help the writing team. Send him home.

VR: "Then, I'd win the Hardcore title"

LOL!

He'd at least put the euro belt on himself. Hardcore champion is to low on the totem pole for a former World Champion like Vinny Ru.

McMahon: What do you think of the current product?

Russo: I think we need to go another direction, make new stars...

McMahon: Get the hell out of my office!!!!!! NOW!!

I think that might be an over dramatic version of what actually happened...

Shane: We need another Test push.

Russo: Lets try pushing someone new. How about we give the cruisers more time?

Vince: You disagree with my son? Get out!

What happened in the meeting is sure to become the question of the week. Russo doesn't hold back on what he thinks.

The other writers probably are somewhat threaten by Russo. By that I mean, McMahon's only successful writer of the '90s (The guy who took over for Russo doesn't count, as business was already booming) was re-hired.

McMahon's choice is weird.

Well, they should push Test...

Yes... push him... it will make the ratings go up. Just like pushing Val Venis will draw crowds and crowds to the house shows.

Can we get off the Test thing yet? Somebody says something bad about him, and like lemmings, the others start cropping up. (or like a parrot. "Test sucks, Test sucks, brawck!" I'd be happy if we could get one real discussion without stupid statements popping up, but I seem to be asking for a lot.

..as for my thoughts about the Russo bit, perhaps Vince realizes jamming that panic button wasn't the right thing to do. It's his company, after all.

Push him hard enough and he WILL get over.

Hell if you push anyone hard enough they will eventually get at least somewhat over.

So yes that would work, but that doesn't mean it's a good thing.

I don't think that is true. If someone has ZERO charisma, they will never get over.

But Test has proven he could get over in the two seperate marriage angles. If it wasn't for Trips squashing him in that feud he'd be way over. I think he was buried almost as bad as jericho and the same amount of times as jericho by JPL. I am a huge jericho mark from even his ECDub days, as I'm from Philly and i've already posted my thoughts on Vince telling him he was the future of the company but Test has be screwed too. He was even somewhat over in the corperation and T&A angles as he got heat in both. Although in T&A all his heat was from the viscious nature of their moves. Someday soon Test will be over.

Although he did look like a jackass all blown up after a 5 minute KOTR match with Holly :(

I see the potental in Test, just like the wwe must, but his character was pretty much killed with hhh marrying steph in the storylines. he looked weak because of it and never really got revenge on hhh, except for when he got hhh arrested for hitting steph I think.

imagine if during the renewal of the wedding vows a few months back test interrupts exactly like hhh did to his wedding and he could have somehow ruined it. hhh and steph would still be together, creating all sorts of wicked heat, and test would be a huge face.

Hey, atleast we're talking about good ways to build a new star.

Mark my words, one day, he'll be over. Maybe not Rocky over, but over none the less.

Test could've been a star if his initial push in 99 survived, but he has sucked too long to ever become that over again.

The one time I didn't mind Triple H burrying someone.

Isn't that kind of hypocritical, AP?

It's fine if it's someone like Test, but the second somebody like Kurt Angle gets 'buried', it's time to start spewing insults at Triple H then?

Get it through your head. Burying Test is the same as burying Angle. It shouldn't happen.

To you he's not.

..and to all the people that bitch about Test getting pushes, he had nowhere near the monster-god push Angle got right after he came into the WWF. But that's allright. Angle=Good. Anyone else=bad. I think I see now how this 'logic' works.

It must be nice to be a parrot.

Tell me, how do you type with clawss?
