Guest Beingz0wningj00 Posted June 22, 2002 Report Posted June 22, 2002 For the record... I want to kill you for this Stubby.
Guest Rabbi_wilson13 Posted June 22, 2002 Report Posted June 22, 2002 Ooo..nifty card. That 6-man looks good and I'm psyched about my match. Two of the hottest writers in the fed for a shot at the title? Can't beat that with a two-dollar South Vietnamese prostitute. JD/Edwin is going to be interesting, and I don't think Rotten is even around anymore. Oh well. Grind him in to the dirt if we need a curtain-jerker. EDIIIIT - Stubbster, unless we get boardtime changed around, 12 PM boardtime, as I just realized in looking at my post, is 8 in the morning. Can we change that, possibly?
Guest midnight_burn Posted June 22, 2002 Report Posted June 22, 2002 Card looks quite tasty. The 6-man Tag match should be fun to write, and i'm definately looking forward to reading the main event, which should be fantastic.
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted June 22, 2002 Report Posted June 22, 2002 Nice. JD, hit me up on IM and we'll plan some stuff out. Also, Stubby: like Wilson said, can we change the due time, to, say, 12 PM pacific, or maybe even 12 PM eastern? Like we said on the community board, 8 am just doesn't make sense. Word.
Guest chirs3 Posted June 22, 2002 Report Posted June 22, 2002 Eep. Well, this will be... er... interesting.
Guest BA_Baracus Posted June 23, 2002 Report Posted June 23, 2002 PROMO (Stubby P. McWeed); "Er...okay, about the time thing. I've just been copy and pasting the basic card template since way back in the IGN days. Thus "board time" doesn't really mean board time. I have no idea what's actually up with the time on these boards, so when I say 12 pm board time, I actually 12 pm central time I guess. Since most of you live in North America that means the matches are due anywhere from 10 am to 2 pm. As for the Australians...heck if I know. Basically just add an extra two hours to when you had to get things in on the IGN boards. Of course there's always a few hours leeway when it comes to the deadline and extensions are available. Mothernature says, got it?"
Guest HVilleThugg Posted June 23, 2002 Report Posted June 23, 2002 YO! Why has no one mentioned that Erek Taylor, a relative newbie, could be facing Edwin on Sunday?? That would be huge!! I think it would be the fastest rise in history!! GO EREK!! Da "holding his foam finger" H
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted June 23, 2002 Report Posted June 23, 2002 Because, Thugg, the thought scares me. Remember, I'm HOLDIN' EM ALL DOOOOWN! ::cough::
Guest AnnieEclectic Posted June 23, 2002 Report Posted June 23, 2002 That would be an amazing fight, and if Erek were to win two in a row somehow, I do believe he might be the fastest bump to win the World. Correct me if I'm (most likely) wrong. -Annie
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted June 23, 2002 Report Posted June 23, 2002 I think you'd be right, Annie. I think both Thugg and Mag took about 5 months to win their first titles...probably about the same amount of time for Divefire, too. Oo, all this speculation, just makes me so tingly...
Guest HVilleThugg Posted June 23, 2002 Report Posted June 23, 2002 6 months...for me at least. I arrived in the WF after the May PPV. I won the title off ELM in November. Simple math tells us that June to November is 6 months silly kids. Da "I'm the shortest" H
