Kinetic Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 Where else did I hear this? It was in some movie, wasn't it? EDIT: Right, The Darjeeling Limited.
Garth Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 You are correct sir. It was indeed in some movie, namely The Darjeeling Limited.
King Kamala Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 Fuck yes! My 7th and 8th grade French teacher always played "Les Champs Elysees" at the beginning of the class while we did warm-up writing exercises. There was this one dork who would spazz out when she played and would play air saxophone. That kid is now the drummer for a Christian rock band.
Guest Desensitized Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 I knew Bulb would come through with some Françoise Hardy. There's something very interesting about the arrangements in French songs, but I can't pin it down.
PUT THAT DICK IN MY MOUTH! Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 I think French might be the best singing language in terms of pure aesthetics.
